I love old dragons. I love them so much that I founded the The Old Dragon Collector's Association in 2014. But I wasn't a KS backer and my account isn't from 2013. I don't have year one valuables and for a long time I didn't think it would be possible for me to purchase the oldest type of tradable dragon: one with a 3 digit ID number.

As I approach my 4 year anniversary on Flight Rising, I've finally buckled down and focused on my goals. I got my Light Sprite in February. The 3 digit, likely worth twice as much, is my ultimate goal. And I'm Ready.

What the dragon MUST have:
A 3 digit ID#
Nature or Plague eyes

Working towards an offer of 100,000 Gems
Pure currency, no items

Progress: 100,000 / 100,000

Lightly bred, all named: 100kG
Moderately bred, all named: 90kG

How am I making so many Gems? Well there's a few ways and they all add up. I don't rely on any single way to get me there. Here are my current efforts:

Selling Specialty Dragons
I have a dragon sales thread here where you'll find 6 digits and Gen 1s. Most notable are the 6 digit Imperials and the 6 digit unbred Gen 1. All of the dragons on that thread are in the AH, but I am willing to haggle, hold, and take certain items. Visit the thread for more details.

Off-Site Trading
I also play Valley of Unicorns, where I am less active and have more specific collecting tendencies. Since I don't need to keep the majority of my horses, I am selling them for FR currency or trading them for fodder dragons. For more info, see my thread on the Item forums.

The Coliseum
Where would anyone be without the Coli? I buy hatchlings for cheap, wait for them to grow up, then level them. I get them to anywhere between 7 to 10 depending on how I feel that day. I also hire people to grind for me. I sell food stacks and familiars on the AH for small amounts of Gems, which supports my fodder purchases and hiring costs. Random stuff from the Materials or Other tabs typically get hoard sold every week or two.

I am officially specifying Nature or Plague flight in my search. I would prefer a female 3 digit, but I will not hesitate to purchase a male. I don't want an unbred dragon because I breed all my permas. He/she will have a mate in my lair and will be bred consistently once the genes are done. I'm not scared off by messy offspring lists! I welcome them. I will, however, pay less than 100kG if there's a ton of unnameds or exalt names. Ugly is ugly, even if it's not a deal breaker. As proud as it would make me to own a 3 digit Imperial, my offer isn't good enough for one. Offer yours at this risk. I fully expect to Scatter and change all the genes on this dragon. I will not pay extra for any Scatter Scrolls used on the dragon before I purchased it. That was your choice, not mine. This is Shanalotte, a 7 digit Gen 2 Imperial. If my 3 digit is a boy, he would be renamed Ocelotte, breed changed to a WC or Coatl, then Scattered until they make a good pair. Similarly this is a Dark Souls reference as well.
