Looking at my scries, a lot of what I like are Baldwin genes so I decided to spend some $$ brewing skink instead of buying something.

[/quote] We started our battle with two of the dodgiest (as in, dodging every single round) moths you could ever imagine, which was a frustrating start. Storm took the most damage out the gate, but of course he doesn't count because he's the coach ;) I backed out at level two to give them some rudimentary stats (mostly to avoid the every-round dodging because it was annoying), which apparently gave them the weird benefit of becoming effectively immortal as we were in that win streak for like a million years??? I never backed out or ended the battle streak, they just kept leveling up before anyone had a chance to die?? Clearly Storm is a good luck charm. Bula and Rivo's kids, Mai and Yan, are old enough now to prove their worth in battle. I sent them out to the training fields with a university student as a coach.

I seriously need to start doing the same re: backing out as soon as I see the janustraps. Those things are INSANE.

On the bright side, at least all of the deaths save me lair space and make for some premium plot material...? lol. Pascale certainly appreciates them.

Together, shepherding the sleepy hatchling girls, they began preparations for the journey home.

Tucking some hatchlings between their wings, our three intrepid (and very tired) heroes make the journey back to the Library of Forbidden Knowledge. By which I mean they battled out 30 matches in the Training Fields to bring Cainwen up to speed.

Rivo is level 5 now, so I gave him the Dark Bolt ability since I had the stone sitting in my inventory.
