I scried dragons I wanted (most of which I lost interest in because holy breeding projects batman), I made an entry for the Flameforger’s Festival, I carefully looked over my options for progen colors to make sure the colors I picked would look good gened and potentially without a tert (in case she got something awful - which she did)… [center]…And of course, I came up with my dream dragon. I actually quite like him, and with some work he could be very similar to one of the dragons I had scried before joining. As such, I intend to keep him, despite his already long offspring list (mostly unnamed). I’ve taken a side quest to make him a suitable permadragon: breed change, rename to fit lair theme, dress, and put an accent on him. [/columns] [columns] The female is a skydancer hatchling that caught my eye for being remarkably close to the dream. She was 10000t. [center][b]Sapphire Crystal Cobalt Shimmer Lemon Circuit[/b][/center] She was unnamed when I bought her; I’ve named her Artoria. Unlike Lance, I don’t intend to keep her when I’m done breeding her. She’s actually too close to my goal. She has the wrong tert color and, more importantly, the wrong eye color, so she can’t sub in for the dream, but she’s close enough to be redundant when I reach my goal. These are their breeding stats: [center]85% Guardian – [b]15% Skydancer[/b] [b]50% Iridescent[/b] – 50% Crystal [b]50% Sapphire[/b] (Range: Indigo, Sapphire) [b]100% Shimmer[/b] [b]33.3% Cobalt[/b] (Range: Sapphire, Navy, Cobalt) 97% Runes – 3% Circuit [b]25% Banana[/b] (Range: Lemon, Yellow, Grapefruit, Banana)[/center] I realize it would be faster to breedchange Artoria into a basic so I could breed her and Lance more frequently, but since Lance is going to be a perma who will end up as a Skydancer, and the baby I’m looking for will also be a Skydancer, and I’m in no real hurry, I might as well just change him and thereby ensure that all offspring are Skydancers as well. Speaking of breeding cooldowns, it’ll be a while before Artoria is ready to breed.
