Welcome to the Starcatcher Quest! This is a starfall festival game hosted by CelestialPrime.
The dragons of the Starfall Isles have discovered a way to snare stars from their loft in the sky, and being them to the earth for use in spellwork. The Arcanist requires a large quantity of these stars for his projects, and on this, the week of Starfall Celebration, he has offered a large quantity of bragging rights for those dragons who collect the most stars for him!
This game is a luck=based contest. Your goal is to collect as many stars as possible in the week of the Starfall Celebration. There are different types of stars for different areas of starcatching, and some areas yield rarer or more plentiful stars than others! At the end of the week, there will be badges awarded for most stars collected, rarest stars collected, and some other things that i'll lead you to find out. Participation badges are at the bottom of this post, and accomplishment badges will be awarded at the end of the week. |
Rules
To join the Starcatcher Quest, you must join this Rolz Room here. Please sign in using your FR username, otherwise I don't know who is participating.
You may roll twice every day {between two FR rollovers}. Before you roll, you must state which area you are starcatching in, then roll a d20. An example is shown in the Rolz Room. Please limit yourself to twice a day, I will check (I have a lot of free time).
The number you roll determines what star you catch. Generally higher is bette, rolls below 10 yield no stars. You must then consult these below charts if you roll above a 10.
Most of tehse stars are actual star types, but some of them are other types of stars that I basically made up to fit more into Sornieth lore.
