[b]Why this thread?[/b]: Nothing special here. I made this to keep myself motivated and I want to show my breeding system to others. Maybe Others have improvement ideas? I would really like to see how others are doing this. And maybe a bit advertising .... we are still looking for close dragons for our project! Type of Challenge:
This is a breeding challenge that I´m making with my friend LadyNatalia. We meet us in the Forum and decided to work something together (well for even more fun!).

Our goal:
We want to breed a dragon with sapphire/sapphire/crimson
This colorcombination doesn´t excist so far in this order (today: 13.09.17).

The Rules:
- We are not rich, so we can´t gene the final one by ourselfs. Thats why we are using dragons with gem genes.
- For the tertiary gene is also a limited gene allowed (especially runes!)

How should the final one look?:

Yes it is sapphire/sapphire/crimson. each color is a number is this system. The goal colors are 0. If I got a dragon who is sapphire/sapphire/crimson it would be 0/0/0. Now I´m on the search for project dragons. I need close ones! Otherwise I wont get the colors I want (of corse...). I´m counting the distanz between the color I want and the color that my project dragon have. Colors above my goal color will get a plus (+) and colors below will get a minus (-). I´m listing all my dragons in this form. It makes it very handy to see which pairing have a chance for getting a sapphire/sapphire/crimson dragon.

A +2/-3/+5 and a -3/+7/-1 would have a chance for getting my goal colors.
But a +2/-3/+5 and a -3/+7/+1 wont give me all colors. I have no chance to get my crimson with this pair.

We are looking for dragons whos colors are close to the specific combination Sapphire/Sapphire/Crimson. We are also looking for gem genes, to make the breeding project cheaper, as geneing up dragons with gem genes is very pricey. For the tertiary genes, genes such as gembond and runes are totally ok!

Color chart

I have made a chart of colors that are closest to sapphire and crimson. Here is the link that leads to the chart:

Reading and knowing about the system that Lesaya has posted (and developed) will help to further understand how this chart works. I have listed 25 colors above and below the target color. This will make it easy to know how close or far a color is (and the numbers are already there for easy use!). Any color past 25 (or the last color posted) is considered too far away from the target color. Getting the closest colors to our target is our main goal. Dragons whose colors are far from the target are not likely to produce the colors we are looking for.

@LadyNatalia I got her for free, I grabbed it for you. It was a "free dragon rom my lair post from somebody i don't know, i could claim one dragon and when I saw this i thought of your project. :D
