Already, dragons began to wander into the awakening hub of transaction and bartering, and ilk of merchants spanning the eleven Flights coming laden with gems and other riches. Yet, the Post was devoid of the cacophony of noises and bickering often associated with the alchemist's stand. What remained was an ebony cauldron, vacant of potions and an absence of flame underneath. Most striking, a wizened alchemist poring over a clawful of scattered, scribbled notes scattered throughout the ground in absolute disarray. The alchemist muttered a fretful string of unintelligible language, panic radiating from his defeated stature. "Gone," he whispered, ever so slightly, "simply-[i] gone![/i]" He whispers dejectedly. Beside Baldwin lays a battered tome, its withered pages torn or missing. Before long, he bolts upright, struck by inspiration and eyes gleaming with chaotic desperation. "You!" He calls out to the gathered assembly of dragons, "Yes, you, [i]all[/i] of you! How would you like to engage in an apprenticeship like no other?" He calls out, gaining traction and confidence, voice rising to encompass all of the trading post. "Come one, come all, come gather, all aspiring alchemists! Come, craft you own alchemical recipe- unleash your magical genius!" He exclaims. By now, a crowd of respectable has come to hear him hawk of recipes to be made, to rebuild a modern tome of the greatest alchemical innovations. Enthralled, you approach the alchemist's station. It is often used by dragons who can't decide between two mates, as well as ones that are unsure of their feelings.
