There is a time for relaxing at the beach, and there is a time for focusing your effort to defeat our beachy Trial Captains! Complete their trials and maybe even defeat them in battle, and leave with as many sweet, chocolatey prizes as you can fit in your talons. This event is for everyone, no matter the flight and no matter the Pokemon skill level! You may battle our Captains, but [b]you do not have to battle[/b] to participate in our event (and win prizes) if you don't want to. [size=6]Rules:[/size][/center] [LIST=1] [*][b]You are not required to battle to participate in this event.[/b] There are 2 ways to participate: a full challenge and a trial-only challenge. Trial-only participants do not have to battle the Captains; simply complete their trials to gain your prize points (1 per trial). Full challenge participants will complete Captains' trials and battle them on Pokemon Showdown to gain their prize points (1 per trial and 1 per battle victory). Because of this, full challenge participants have the opportunity to get twice the prize points, but battles are not required. [*] [b]Battles for this league will be held in the OU tier.[/b] This means that all pokemon classified OU and below are allowed on teams, and those classified Ubers are not. When creating your team for this league, select OU from the drop down list in "Format". Make sure to validate your team (using the validate button) before battling, to make sure it complies to all rules in OU. [*] [b]Trials are simple puzzles or tasks that Captains will ask you to complete.[/b] Each Captain has a unique trial. Once you complete the trial and gain the prize point, you will not have to complete it over again should you lose the subsequent battle. Rematches are available on Captains' time and availability. Prize points will be logged for every part of the challenge participants complete. For every trial completed, you get [b]1 prize point[/b], and for every battle won, you get [b]1 prize point[/b]. At the conclusion of the event, participants will be able to put their prize points toward any listed prize packs they choose. Some will be guaranteed wins, others will work like a raffle for everyone who puts points in. Once every participant has put their points in, the prizes will be given out.
