The nest has hatched! (And on the last day of Wavecrest Saturnalia!) Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get anybody with a blue-range primary, but I've found ways that both babies remind me of the Water Flight!

Here's Fridmani, named for the fish [i]Fridmani pseudochromis[/i], better known as an Orchid Dottyback! He has the same purple color. He also inherited the Rose Gembond from his dad!

This is Argo! She's named after a ship that's mentioned in a lot of constellations. (I name most of my dragons after stars or constellations.) She reminds me of a sunken ship, or maybe a treasure chest at the bottom of the ocean. The Maize Gembond she has remind me of barnacles or gold coins! (Depending on whether it's a ship or a treasure chest you compare her to)
Aesthetically, I like Argo more, but maybe Fridmani would be a better color option? I think I'll choose Argo as my heir. Time to find a mate!

Because I'd narrow it down to either the Skydancer or the last Bogsneak. c: I don't know which I'd pick between them, though -- depends on what concept you want for your final product! The Skydancer would be closer to the traditional triple-blue-range "lightning" vibe, but that Bogsneak could net you a stormcloud with lightning if you push the primary (and secondary?) towards black and the tertiary (and secondary?) towards the bright lightning blue.
Anyhow, these are just some thoughts. ^^ Good luck picking your heir!
