What I really need to do is get finished with my OWN challenges and get some dergs out of my lair XD Alas, I'm addicted to matchy matchy G1 pairs XD

I'm horrible. Just what I needed. Another breeding challenge when I have almost no room in my lair. What was I thinking? *facepalm* Anyway, here we go! I already had Earthquake (an Earthshaker demigod), so I got him a Tidelord demigoddess for a mate! Oh, what a tale of woe and mismatched love I could write. Anxiety made Beau's leg's wobble -- he was going to be a father! -- whereas Nadya trembled in eager anticipation. "Finally!" she whistled. "Our little ones are here!" Her announcement was premature, but that didn't undo any of the magic. After they became mates all those years ago, they wanted to settle in a place they felt would be good for their children. With both holding a fascination for the natural and the beautiful, it only made sense to ask the followers of the Gladekeeper if they could nest under her boughs. Since they were welcomed with open arms, a pair of eggs were planted softly in the dirt, infused with the magic of nature itself. And now, two little boys tumbled out of their shells, shaking off the fluid that clung to their faces and blinking their bold green eyes at the new and exciting world. The older one, a Guardian, they named Geoffrey in honor of the peace of their territory -- a reminder of their foreign ways in this new land and their hopes that they can one day be a part of it all. "Just like their father." At one time, Beau might have tried to hide his face behind his wings and claws, aware that he would be possessing the blush of the world's largest tomato. But now he simply smiled, pulling his mate to his chest with a small brush of his massive paw and bumping his nose gently to hers. "I was about to say that they were as perfect as their mother," he murmured, his voice low and tinted with magic. Nadya trilled, putting her tiny hands on either side of his face. "I love you." And as Beau said "I love you, too," he felt the little ones bunch up against his hind paws, attempting to play with one another and cooing vigorously for attention. Nadya pulled back from the embrace to tend to them, her eyes sparkling with excitement -- along with a stream of happy tears. Beau would, in a moment, move to help her tend their young, but before he could he could feel tears nudge at the corners of his own eyes.[/i] Together, we are home. ~[/center] And now, for the more boring and normal part of my update! I wasn't terribly surprised to see my hatchlings had more or less inherited red-ranged genes. What I [i]was[/i] surprised by was the fact that both of them received the exact same primary -- carmine Skink! Who knew, right? It definitely gives them a draw as brothers, although to be brutally honest, Geoffrey is probably going [url=http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/drt/2103955]to this fun thread[/url] because he's not going to be a terribly attractive adult. As such, Nicolas will be the heir to this legacy. In terms of where to go from here, I decided my end result should be a tree dragon. They're very popular in the Nature flight, and although I love them, I can't say I've had the pleasure of owning one myself. Therefore, I've decided that my little ones would be mated to various tree dragons I can pull from the Auction House until I achieve one that makes me yell "that's it!" Now... normally I wouldn't hesitate to chuck the founders to the current pushing flight to earn me some raffle tickets, but I really do like Beau and Nadya's story. As such, if any of you guys wish to adopt either or both for your own personal reasons, speak today or forever hold your peace. They would be free to good homes! And so... once I have lairspace, I'll be off to find a mate for little Nicolas... EDIT: Beau and Nadya are going to a good home!

Haha poor Geoffrey. My Arcane girl will finally be RTB in 4 days ahhhhhh. These breeding challenges take so much patience T_T

@Hyunae Yeah, they definitely do. c: I love to see what comes out of them, though, and most of mine are staggered with other such challenges so that there's something exciting going on with at least one of them at just about any given time. Here's hoping your founders produce truly magnificent babies!
