alright i guess i'm doing one of these too

so since we've got this shiny fancy new forum for it, i figure i might as well make my own personal thread to catalogue all the different things i want to do on this site so that they're no longer all thrown in my clan profile. i have no idea if i will use all of the posts that i may reserve but i guess it's better to reserve them ahead of time than run out? oh well

for the time being, i'll be splitting this into a few categories in no particular order:

- dragon/breeding quests
- apparel quests
- misc quests
- donations
- completed goals

my interest/activity in fr tends to rise and fall so don't expect super regular updates but. if i'm on then i'm on :')

[s]it's totally not[/s] In any case, Akhtar slipped his escort to being sent to the Shadowbinder, collected up a handful of other exalt-hopefuls, talked them into being his crew, and squirreled them all away in the Driftwood Drag. His aim? He... doesn't know yet. His crew needs to be bigger first. [i]Then[/i] his goals will become clear. [center][u][b]~~~*~**dragon/breeding quests**~*~~~[/b][/u] i told myself i'd never do one of these again. holtzmann was enough. then the scrying workshop handed me this lady. [img]https://www1.flightrising.com/dgen/preview/dragon?age=1&body=35&bodygene=39&breed=17&element=6&eyetype=7&gender=1&tert=95&tertgene=27&winggene=29&wings=176&auth=6d46ff8ea3836940175faf76f2b3c9579a999ef6&dummyext=prev.png[/img] [i]ice flight female gaoler forest / eldritch / taupe phantom / streak / gnarlhorns[/i] unfortunately for me, taupe is a [i]very[/i] unpopular tertiary colour. so while i would like to use this dragon as the third in a set of three gaolers (see: matrix and amadinda in my permas tab) to train up as the replacements for my progens+caland as the general all-purpose coli farmers, it's going to be a long time coming. (** the scry tool gave her ice flight eyes, but i'm also not particularly fussy if i end up getting lucky and hatching the right colours myself. shadow eyes are fine too.) [u][b]current progress:[/b][/u] see breedquest lair tab. forest & hunter are my only pair at the moment; i'm attempting to just breed as much as i can from them so that i can hopefully get a parent that can get me closer to narrowing things down. i haven't exalted any yet just in case but if that tab gets too full i'll have to pare things down. [i]ideally[/i] i should look for another set of parents to do the same thing with, but i just... i don't like breedquests, why do i do this to myself T_T [u][b]update:[/b][/u] picked up a couple of dragons on the AH that have about a 10-ish range for each colour. that doesn't give me [i]great[/i] odds for getting the combo that i want, but it serves the more important purpose of giving me a second set of parents to pair offspring of the two sets with. i've also pared down the offspring forest and hunter have given me- anything with a secondary outside of the black/purple range im looking for has been trained and exalted (or shanghaied into akhtar's crew lol). there's one particular boy that's very promising: forest/eldritch/brown. if i can get a female from hunt and xaviere with close colour matches to what i'm looking for, well... things would be lookin' up. owo still have to wait a while for hunt and xaviere to come off breeding cooldown though. neither of them were anywhere near ready to breed when i bought them.[/center]

Now, it's been a while since I joined and put my first team(s) through the coli as a trio, getting plenty of loot from every venue. There have been... quite a few venues added since I did that. Like, seriously a lot. The Kelp Beds were added during or shortly after I finished training my first farming trio. Yeah, it's been that long. Since I had three venues left to train up trainers for, I figure why not take a trip down memory lane and train them up the old fashioned way? This way, I can build up a nice stash of loot from newer venues like Redrock Cove and the Vents. [b][i]lore update:[/i][/b] within the timeline of the lore, orlaina (with holtzmann tagging along because, well, daughter) arrives at the clan after this boggie does. orlaina is kind of strictly no-nonsense and she's not about to see this little baby bogsneak trying to fend for herself within the clan, so she adopts her. pumkin will need to be ""exiled"" at some point, but i want to make sure she goes to a good home and... probably has something in her profile about being exiled, so i'm going to need to put something together for that. i'm thinking that once i have her profile put together, i'll make a thread in the shadow forums to start with and see if anyone's interested there, unless someone else here wants her. Did another 100 battles in the Kelp Beds for the Determination Challenge, training a few fodder dergs for dom public buys. With how the payouts are right now, I should be making a good 8k+ off each one! So I guess that puts me more toward the inordinate amount of treasure I need for the genes I want?

(who knew this could be so profitable? /has never participated in a public buy before)
