Zhombi - I don't mind. And thanks. I've really been trying to get these latest additions trained up.
Prepare for the wall of text to answer your questions. =D
My preferred method for training is to use 2 level 25's to train up 2 dragons to level 15 -17. I put on all the stones as I go. Then I use the 2 lower leveled dragons together, starting in the Waterway and train them up with either another of my own dragons that need training or with an exalt fodder. And I move thru the venues as they level up.
Currently, I am doing the All the fams coli challenge, so I had to stick with venues I had open for my latest trainees. So they are having to train in the Waterway and Arena until they can fight in Harpy's Roost, where they can stay until they are completed.
I find playing coli games while training helps keep me motivated and being able to switch venues helps too. Plus, when I am training exalts, I have lots of small goals to reach and so it makes the entire process seem faster to me. And I am making money at the same time. =D
i don't have a favorite venue, but I do have a few I don't like. Rainsong Jungle may be pretty, but it has always been my nemesis venue and Waterway is not far behind. LOL
The most efficient leveling for me is Ghostlight Ruins which is where I trained exalts when not training permas, before I began the totally insane, All the Fams coli challenge.
As far as how long it took? Before the new colorwheel was debuted, my lair was all trained up and I think that took 6 months, but I didn't do it all myself. I hired some trainers to help get some to 25, others I paid to get my dragons to 15 and I did the rest. But after the new color wheel, I sold a bunch of my 25’s to make room for new colors. Plus, I've acquired a few new ones in the year since.
As a side note, I rarely coli without doing something else at the same time. It's too boring. LOL. So I will watch a movie or I will coli on my phone while I walk indoors or ride the stationary bicycle.
Oh, and every few dragons I'll train as a healer. It helps to throw them on the team as the third member when I don't have exalts or am not in the mood to deal with having to restart battles. it helps for the Waterway and Rainsong Jungle since they have some tough packs to beat if your dragons are at the level of the venue.
If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask. I don't mind. Happy training!
