The three entered the training fields together and with their parents advice quickly got their footing as a pack. The three made their way through the fields felling their opponents with teamwork... But they knew that only one of them could return home. It was Teyla that started it, intentianoly leaving a ragepuff alive instead of killing it, leaving her sister Aurra with a nasty gash on her shoulder before she realized. After this the tempo of the battles changed and the tension became palpable between the three. Missed attacks, enemies living much longer than they should have, the flow between the three sisters broken, their attacks more savage, knowing they couldn't depend on their siblings to watch their backs.
Finally, the battle came. The sisters began fighting a Luna Mith together when a Sweetpuff snuck up on the eldest, Aurra. Its attack was harsh and she fought back desperately, her sisters ignoring her plight. As she fell, the Sweetpuff changed targets, moving on to her sisters. It caught their attention with an attack on Teyla, but the two had just finishes off the Luna Mith and they both moved against the attacker. Teyla held back, injured, and the Sweetpuff dealt a fierce blow to Nyota, but for its next attack Nyota was smart, pulling its attention to Teyla and sealing her fate. After that it was just a single attack before the Sweetpuff fell and the victor returned to the clan.

Ozzy and Abrianna finally hatched their first nest together, and I'm finally starting to figure out the lore. The rough outline of it is- Abrianna is some sort of researcher (as pretty much all of my perma dragons are researchers or scholars of some sort) and Ozzy is a homeless plain Joe who made a deal with her, something like "have a nest with me and you get free lodging and food for your stay".
She's some sort of biologist or smth who's doing hands on research on genes and breeds passed on to hatchlings. She eventually wants to figure out a way to control what genes and breed the hatchlings inherit. However, since my lair is a "warrior scholar" type since all my permas are also leveled, she has this whole "survival of the fittest" mentality too. Only the strong can get the chance to pass on their genes.
lighter route: losers are sent to other clans/the lightweaver. Lorewise, they leave with the mate to do whatever, sort of like a divorce parental custody thing.
darker route: they die.
