It took ten battles before either of them went down and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Both of their health was incredibly low, but Rivalen's was the lowest. I was scared I'd go another generation without any upgrades. But, not long after, an Emerald Webwing happened to get a critical hit on Meir, ending the battle. Well. I've decided to do this! Let me introduce my current king and queen. He still believes there is good in her, and plays along with this whole challenge. He cares about her well-being, and wouldn't dare get onto her bad side. Euterpe mainly dodged the attacks, her graceful movements making it easy for her to mislead the enemies. Erato fought with fangs and claws, using her strength as her primary weapon. Clio used magic to fight off his enemies, conjuring basic spells to fire at the mice. The mice were slain after what looked like an eternity, and the siblings found each other in the centre of a battlefield that was unlike anything they had seen in their nightmares. But two of them were on the brink of death. Clio was clinging to his book, breathing heavily. Euterpe silently stared at the sky, already blinking out of existence. "Erato," Clio coughed. He immediately agreed to help Erato, although it was more out of curiosity than out of sympathy. "It seems like your family contracted a magical curse of some sorts at the time that Apheleia mated with Amos.", he explained to Erato. "This seems to be where hatchlings became more feral and unable to talk." He looked through the book some more. "It seems that the curse mutates with every hatchling, and that the hatchlings that are less affected by it all are physically weaker." He looked up at Erato. "That's all I can make from these notes. More research should be done to find out what exactly this curse is and how to undo it." Both dragons looked at each other, both knowing exactly what had to be done. ----- I FINALLY GOT LUCKY! It took a while but I'm out of Fae territory. We are halfway through the legacy (this is generation five) so I decided to ante it up with lore and writing. She is determined to figure out exactly what was going on and will go through extreme lengths to save her family from whatever is influencing them. She has Uriel to help her understand the more intricate works of magic, and to test things 'out in the field'
And this generation's mate, Uriel. This attracted him to Erato. He isn't one to help others by default, but this case was interesting, to say the least. He is totally willing to mate with her to continue his research. 35798494_350.png

Or would it be Clio, who was determined to decipher his family's secrets.

The three of them came to the Training Fields together, in unison. They knew about their family's legacy all too well, but who were they to disagree?

As Clio was the only one able to speak he chatted away while Euterpe hummed along and Erato just listened. Her notebook was left at their home, she had no use for it while battling.

"It's actually really pretty here...", Clio noted. Euterpe hummed in agreement. It was lush, colorful, quiet. Way too quiet. As became apparent as a pack of Mice suddenly charged right out of the bushes towards the dragons.

All three of them were good fighters, but all three of them quickly lost track of each other during the fight.

"please take my book." Erato nodded, taking the book from Clio. "Continue... the research..."

At was two days after the ordeal. Erato had buried her siblings and was back home, studying the notes of Lyss and Clio almost without taking any breaks. But she wasn't as magically gifted as her brother and did not understand everything that was written in the book. So she went searching for someone who could help her. The lands her family had chosen to live were quiet and home to lost souls and shady figures. So Erato did not expect to find a Skydancer that was willing to help her.

Uriel was a strange dragon, who had been studying the less savory side of magic for all his life.

I FINALLY GOT LUCKY! It took a while but I'm out of Fae territory. We are halfway through the legacy (this is generation five) so I decided to ante it up with lore and writing.

Here's our heiress, Erato, and her new lore.

Erato's new lore wrote:
Erato continues the research that Clio had started after the death of her siblings. She is determined to figure out exactly what was going on and will go through extreme lengths to save her family from whatever is influencing them. She has Uriel to help her understand the more intricate works of magic, and to test things 'out in the field'

And this generation's mate, Uriel.

Uriel's lore wrote:
Uriel is obsessed with curses, hexes and every kind of magic that can make a dragon's life miserable. This attracted him to Erato. He isn't one to help others by default, but this case was interesting, to say the least. He is totally willing to mate with her to continue his research.

See you again when updates happen!
