That seems like a good omen! My heir policy is going to be to cherrypick, because this is tough enough with ugly mates. I also dithered over whether to pick the mate early (on the grounds that a lot of primo ugly gets exalted young) or to wait and keep that lair space open for fodder, but impatience always wins out over common sense for me!
