I scried her with some different genes and she's not bad with certain combos. That PoiTox though... YIKES.
I am excited for the possible kids. Even though, for some unfathomable reason, I always end up with a keeper in the yellow/orange ranges when I do this challenge.

The color range is getting somewhat more tolerable, and the gene rarity went up on the primary, so that'll help me find more to work with...but now I'm dealing with common breeds again. Well, it had to be done to maintain the cheap and still get a certain color range, heh.

Okay so I may or may not have cheated a little on this generation: I was planning on breed changing the heir’s mate to mirror but I just... didn’t and bred them anyway XD. Ended up buying a skydancer with the traits I was looking for. Primary aim was for the black skink primary and trying to move the stripes to eye spots because I am sick of looking at stripes.
Boy was breeding them without the breed change one of the best choices made in this challenge. [i] Just look at the babies oh my god[/i]:

I was unbelievably [i]shocked[/i] when I saw that tert gene. Seriously. Trying generation after generation to get something above an uncommon tert [i]and I just randomly get a pretty rare gene I mean come one[/i]. This girlie [i]almost[/i] ended the challenge for me, but I think I need one or two more generations to make the absolute perfect mirror.
Need to take a little bit of time to let the hatchings grow and figure out what direction I want to go for the rest of the challenge, but honestly I couldn’t be more excited. I am so close to an amazing dragon <3

Poor ugly kiddo fits perfectly with this breeding project. At this point I just want to see what color opal I end up with while keeping the primary and secondary dark colors. Hoping for kiddos with obsidian rather than Eldritch primary but they honestly work with either [i]I mean look at some of these potential offspring[/I]:

The older sister, Johanna is actually very beautiful. Not my thing at all, certainly, but her colours work rather nicely and I'm sure there are people out there who like this sort of thing. Not that it matters, since she can't be heir.
