Thanks for getting back to me. I think after I get the Arcane Sprite I'll try getting gems instead of treasure. It's amazing that you got the Shadow and Earth Sprites after nine days of saving each and the water and nature sprites in only two days each.

Swipp/Baldwin Familiar Status
No new progress on the Amberwing Wave skipper. I got an additional 11 sunset sea dragons while leveling fishing. I only need seven more and then I have to wait for the trade to show up to get an Autumn Sea Dragon. Next I'll fish in a different element to get the Sea Faes I need for a Seaweed Scavenger.

Retired/Gem Familiar
Today was a good day for treasure. In total I made 136,057T and 1G. Overall I sold 38 crystal quartz, 2 pieces of apparel, 1 irradiated Alchemical Reduction, 1 Black Wolf, 1 Snowfall Elk, and 200 pieces of food. I also exalted two dragons at level 8. I've been thinking, in the future I'd like to buy retired familiars in gems, since it seems like it may be easier to earn them. Should I sell my unhatched eggs for gems to help with purchasing future familiars or sell them for treasure to help buy the Arcane Sprite? Or should I just convert the treasure I already have into gems?

Well, I was lucky XD
I already had most of the founds for the Nature and Water, so I got them both the same day once I had enough gems, and I made a good profit with the festivals and was lucky with some bosses, that allowed me to get the Shadow Sprite ^^

You're doing pretty well with getting the treasures :D

Ah, you have to face a though choice :o

All right, I got 133 gems, meaning I now have 1984 gems in my vault :D

Not bad, I'm getting closer of my goal :D

A bit of a late update(blame the puppy and alcohol for that!). Not much sold on the AH today and I didn't get around to training exalts but I did get a lucky AH sell (Golem Gauntlet) which gave me a nice sum of treasure and opened a whole bunch of chests (100+). Opened the gem buying thread again and I'm close to a 5th of the way there :D!
