@UlvDakota @sgkat [color=magenta][size=3][b]Hatchling Update #7[/b][/size][/color] This hatchling update is special because I finally did something I've been planning to do for a while: My Elements lineage and @middletone 's Lord of the Rings lineage have finally joined together! middletone, your lineage thread was what inspired me to start this thread. Thank you for starting yours, and selling me one of your secondary pair's hatchlings. I think Greenleaf and ElfFriend have some pretty adorable grandbabies right here. @UlvDakota @sgkat Hi. This project is still ongoing, and for my most recent nest, I actually have lore! (Yes, mods, per the Forums Code of Conduct, I do have relevant, constructive content to add to this old thread.) I am sorry about how badly I failed to keep this thread up to date. A lot of the days when I had new nests for it were work days, so I let these updates fall by the wayside. However, today, I felt inspired. I just signed up to participate in [url=http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/frd/2088090]Lore Whining Days,[/url] and one of the things I decided to get done today was writing hatchling letters to players I'd purchased dragons from recently. One of my recent purchases was for this project, and it occurred to me while I was writing the letter that this was a piece of lore writing for the Elements project, so it should also go in this thread! [i]Dear Mother and Father: I am writing to tell you that I am doing well here in the Starfall Isles. I followed the call to wander the world here, and when I arrived in these lands, I met Fluorine. She is on a quest to see every region in the world, learn everything she can about magic and science, and experience all that life in each region has to offer. She had never been to the Scarred Wasteland before, so I invited her to come with me and see it. We found a friendly lair that was willing to take us in for a few days while we explored the land. While we were there, I also had the honor of becoming a father to two adorable and strong Mirror daughters, both of whom inherited my stripes and one of whom inherited my Arcane-appropriate coloration. (The other inherited her mother’s coloration.) We returned to Fluorine’s lair near the Observatory after they were hatched, so that they could grow up among her clan. The clan’s lead hunter, Jareth, always takes delight in teaching new Mirror hatchlings how to hunt, and he is pleased to have a Mirror guest and companion to assist him with the task. Your granddaughters are growing up strong and skilled in the realms of magic and science, of which their mother is a great devotee. Molybdenum (the fuchsia one) is a great lover of animating unicorn toys with magic, while her sister Magnesium loves experimenting with chemicals and trying to create explosions.
