If you want to share an image on the forums and have it appear in your post, you'll first need to upload the image to your own webspace. There are also several free photo sites out there that will host your image.

After you've uploaded your image to your own webhost or a photo-sharing site that allows hotlinking, copy the image url. Create a forum post or reply and click the "tree" icon. This will give you a prompt where you can enter in the image url.
[code]You can also manually type [img] and [/img] tags around your url.[/code]
Hit preview and make sure that your image is displaying correctly.

If you wish to share your art on a mass gallery such as [url=http://deviantart.com/]Deviantart[/url], you may, but most gallery type sites will not allow external linking from forums. In this case, your best bet is to provide a text link to the image in question so that other visitors can click it and view your art offsite.

There's a button with a tree, click that. Put a direct link in the pop-up.
Your Sig would be [img]_http://I.imgur.com/6CSdDy8.png_[/img] only without the underscores to make [img]http://I.imgur.com/6CSdDy8.png[/img]
[B]EDIT:[/B] I'd also use the [_Center_] tag (again without spaces) but that's just me and my ocpd

Alright, this wasn't super duper specific so I can understand why you're confused.
You need to right click the picture you want and click "Copy image URL".
Then you can go back to the forums and in your post type [img][/img] or use the little tree and put the image between the img's.
Sometimes if it doesn't show up you need to add ".png" at the end, but not always. Just check it before you post it.

No problem! Glad I could help. c:
I tried to copy the image URL but it wasn't on there, instead it had a button the=ing that said "copy image address". I tried to post an image that way and it didn't work. What should I do?
