A new venue has been discovered: Crumbling ruins, abandoned and overgrown are being explored and plundered. Those who would test their skills in Ghostlight Ruins will find they've unearthed more than treasure in their endeavours...

New Spirits to Befriend
Not all of the spirits that inhabit the ruins are malicious. Many of these beings are simply confused and will follow a calm and caring dragon home! (Who wouldn't want a haunted lair!? Wait, don't answer that...)
Aer Phantom
Familiar
While they appear non-threatening, dragons take care not to let this spectral creature pass through them.
2750
Lux Spectre
Familiar
These impish spectres appear at the edges of one's vision when the nights are darkest. It remains unknown if they truly exist, or if they are a figment of the mind.
2750
Otherworldly Aura
Familiar
A jumble of bones and magic. When you can't find a familiar, make one!
2750
Somber Spirit
Familiar
A bundle of mismatched parts, levitating in tandem through a musty cloud of dark energy.
2750
Carrioncorn
Familiar
The dreaded carrioncorn is said to stampede in massive herds throughout the Abiding Boneyard, sometimes locked in vicious battles with resident vultures over rare food sources.
2750
Nightmare
Familiar
This eerie equine creature is surprisingly sweet, but will only make itself known in dreams to those who have witnessed a death.
2750
Greybeak Reaper
Familiar
These fearful Corven are said to be the shepherds of the lost spirits of recently deceased Talonok.
2750
Tengu Caller
Familiar
Sent by their clans to seek and bring home their fallen flock lost to madness and confusion, these dusk-traveling bounty hunters seem to be losing their own battle with darkness.
2750
Infestation Hound
Familiar
Dripping with disease, these hellish hounds disguise themselves as carcasses. They prey on unsuspecting scavengers that come to feast.
2750
Wraith Hound
Familiar
The chilling howl of these phantom dogs can be heard for miles.
2750
Longneck Medium
Familiar
Often mistrusted, these occult-seeking acolytes wander ruins and graveyards, calling softly to beings unseen.
2750
Longneck Scholar
Familiar
Though most Longnecks take up tools of the land, some seek higher forms of learning, opting to lead intellectually.
2750
Pronghorn Stomper
Familiar
Swift and strong, these towering creatures will drop to all fours and chase away anyone that threatens their territory.
2750
Shatterbone Vulture
Familiar
In a stunning natural role reversal, the undead Shatterbone often finds itself center of attention of other carrion birds.
2750
Tatterwing Carcass
Familiar
These imposing zombie-vultures can spend weeks perched in the same spot, waiting for sickly creatures to succumb.
2750
Disoriented Spirit
Familiar
The very last thing you wanted to encounter on a dark night.
7500
Malevolent Spirit
Familiar
A lumbering mass of bones. This shambling horror is draped in rotting cloth and surrounded by a shroud of thick mist.
7500
A Hoard of Loot
The Ghostlight Ruins introduces a variety of new items for your dragons to consume, barter or hoard. Finding each of these resources and relics can be a challenge.
Aer Sprite
Plant
A gust of aer sprites can sometimes be confused for a swarm of fireflies in the right light.
41
4
Dandelion Seeds
Plant
These medicinal seeds have been put to use in many herbal teas.
41
4
Scary Storybook
Trinkets
The foreword indicates that these are best told in the dark. The black and white illustrations throughout are crude, sketchy, and haunting. Don't read the one about the neck ribbon.
47
Tales of Terror
Trinkets
A dusty moth-eaten tome pocked with glowing eyes. It's pretty safe to judge this book by its cover, though it might be a good idea to wait until it's not looking right at you.
47
Spotted Seabeak
Seafood
Very few parts of this bright animal are edible raw, but if cooked in a creamy broth its natural toxins can be neutralized.
41
4
Ragesquid
Seafood
If one manages to ever catch these speedy creatures, they're in for quite the treat. Purple is the real new food trend.
41
4
Bottled Bones
Organics
This is the kind of thing that you'd find in the back room of your local magic shop.
47
Enchanted Remains
Organics
Perfectly preserved... forever.
47
Deadweed
Plant
Contrary to its name, this shrub is very much alive. Wait... is it... is it moving?
41
4
Flameweed
Plant
The leaves of this dry shrub are nearly impervious to flame, making it incredibly difficult to clear once flameweed has overrun an area.
41
4
Delightful Wooden Unicorn
Trinkets
It takes a particular kind of hatchling to seriously refer to this menacing plaything as 'delightful'.
47
Dire Wooden Toy
Trinkets
A horse-shaped toy, reeking of smoldering ash. It might make for better tinder than hatchling entertainment.
47
Humpback Anglerfish
Seafood
Nature, really? This is what you went with?
41
4
Deepsea Yawner
Seafood
When dried or smoked, the Deepsea Yawner provides an excellent and sustaining jerky for the long haul traveler. Looks wicked gross, though.
41
4
Ceremonial Scythe
Trinkets
A wickedly sharp reaping scythe, adorned with the wielder's own feathers. The blade is spotless and glints as it catches the light.
47
Sharpened Scythe
Trinkets
Fashioned from obsidian, the head of this scythe is more than capable of splitting hairs.
47
Infestation Maggot
Insect
The maggot: Nature's greatest and most resilient clean-up crew. If disease can't kill these little buggers, surely a dragon will be fine, right?
41
4
Bloated Maggot
Insect
'That's a thing I want to eat', said no one ever.
41
4
Ghastly Houndskull
Organics
Still capable of animation long after its host body has been destroyed, the best tactic for dispatching these airborne skulls is with a swift projectile.
47
Haunting Houndskull
Organics
A smoldering skull with a toothy grin. While there aren't any eyes, one can't help but feel like they're being watched.
47
Blacktongue Pepper
Plant
Consumed for its seeds -which exhibit the highest level of pungency in Sornieth- this pepper is harvested at midnight for the best batch.
41
4
Golden Pepper
Plant
Not as good as the red hot chili variant that was popular back in the day, but starting to grow on you.
41
4
Tallow Candle
Trinkets
A thick tallow candle to read creepy stories by. Let's hope it doesn't blow out.
47
Enchanted Candle
Trinkets
Just the sort of thing you wouldn't want to see floating on its own at the end of a dark hallway.
47
Stomper Haunch
Meat
Even having one of these is a feat.
41
4
Greystone Deer
Trinkets
A simple statue often left as a territory marker by hunters. Pronghorn will often move them close to their lairs as a deadly lure.
47
Stag Figurine
Trinkets
A charm given to travellers in hopes of a swift journey.
47
Picked-Over Bones
Meat
Whoa, whoa, whoa. There's still plenty of meat on that bone. Now you take this home, throw it in a pot, add some broth, a potato. You've got a stew going!
41
4
Aged Carcass
Meat
This creature had very little meat on its decomposing form to begin with. This is almost not even worth it.
41
4
Vulture Idol
Organics
Tengu leave these imposing figures at ritual sites.
47
Raptor Effigy
Trinkets
A dilapidated effigy fashioned to resemble the Tatterwing Vulture. It is of Corven design.
47
Bloodfly
Insect
As much of a nuisance as a nutritious food source, the bloodfly can cause an unsightly rash at the location of a bite.
420
16
Buzzwing Vampire
Insect
Relentless and numerous, these territorial flies have a sting as powerful as most wasps. They frequently transmit devastating diseases.
420
16
Grave Dust
Organics
One is just asking to be haunted when collecting this from crypts.
420
Memorial Urn
Organics
The ancient remains within have been pilfered.
420
