LOVE the ancient dragon idea! I'm really excited to see different body types and super wild terts since they don't have to adhere to apparel-restricted limb and body types!!

As long as they don't impact the development of new "modern breeds" I couldn't be happier! I think this was a great way to give people new dragons and reassure us that more of the traditional breeds are coming :)

I can't wait to hear more details about ancient breeds, especially with stuff like eye types. I think it would also be cool if very limited apparel could be given to them, specifically elemental emblems, since they have nothing to do with body types and would help us show support for flights!

Nice outside the box guys! I actually hadn't realized that new breeds were a possibility what with the goodly number already available. Good Show!

P.S. How many people work on games? And is this something that could be farmed out to volunteers? (I'm thinking of things like the bubble puzzle design judging)

Well, that's a bit disappointing, new breeds are either too difficult or too tedious to get released at any regularity so we'll get some simpler version that doesn't require as much work. I guess I'll wait too see if the Ancient breeds will be as fun without all the bells and whistles...

Im very happy that you don't try to overwork your employees or force crunch time or anything like that. But outside of that small part of this update, the more I think about this update the more this just feels like yet another shiny new distraction for all the issues staff has been ignoring from the userbase for literally years. This is just an easy fix for staff that means they barely have to bother working on new modern breeds when they can just release ancient after ancient with half as much effort and everyone's going to be too focused on the fancy new breed to continue complaining about the extensive art errors or the bare bones dominance mechanics or the lack of games and anything actually fun to do or literally any other issue that's been brought up to staff in the past only to be ignored. As someone who's been playing since the beginning, this update is actually very disappointing to me and really highlights a lack of care and effort towards the userbase itself.

tbh even though Gatorade Dad being Permanently Gone was low-key terrifying, it was kinda interesting to consider possibly making a new god for the Flight lol

Woah! This is really cool! I've already got my gears spinning thinking about some lore for my first ancient dragon... Haha, just this morning i was daydreaming about how evolution might've worked for dragons. I was thinking that it would be cool if since they can't fly, the first Snappers didn't have wings and only got them over time after crossbreeding with other species! I don't expect that to be how things work for these, but I think its pretty serendipitous [emoji=guardian laughing]
