I can see why some people claim they got to pick their terts, because I will never not be jealous of the RNG for rolling his tert one off an X/Y/Y. Thematically, midnight/blood is a great color combo for a shadow dragon. It sounds like the title of a suspense thriller, or possibly a particularly intense Clue spinoff. As a color combo, they look fantastic together. Midnight avoids the green highlights that obsidian iridescent picks up, without sacrificing any of the darkness, so that was an excellent choice, and it looks so good with dark blue/purple highlights that blood shimmer picks up. His maroon crackle has a really nice unifying effect, bringing the reds of his wings all across his body. it's clear that this was a dragon you put some thought into building and geneing to get the most flattering possible combination. It would be a shame to cover up such great colors with heavy apparel, so I'd say this is a dragon that doesn't particularly need any, but some of the desert dynasty or river royalty jewelry might look good on him, and it mostly stays out of the way. The soft way the sky circuit colors the tips of his wings and paws complements the blue highlights in his emerald shimmer mane very nicely. Sky and white is also a great color combo, and his light primary shows off the light colored circuit that might be hidden or overshadowed by a darker or brighter primary color. Iridescent can be hit or miss on tundras, because of the way their accent colors show up on their haunches, but white is one of the ones that gives them that lovely silky look without inexplicably giving them a green butt. His haunches would get a little grey, but the effect of circuit nicely covers that up. Ice eyes are a nice complement to his white and blue coloration, which would be very easy to clash with. In conclusion, Jake is great and tundras are the best. [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=4650518] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/46506/4650518_350.png[/img] [/url] Selene is hands down one of the most beautiful dragons in your lair. Rose iridescent and lavender shimmer play so well with each other, picking up pink and purple highlights from each other, so her primary and secondary seem to blend together to form a harmonious whole. Pink and purple are a wonderful color combo on their own, and the pastel shades of rose and lavender are a soft, dreamy combination, softened further by their genes, that gives Selene a soothing, mystical look. Gembond is definitely shown to its advantage on skydancers in particular, who get a delicate jeweled decoration that matches their delicate frame, and the matching lavender gembond suits her by not introducing a third color to contend with an already winning combo. The gentle color combination even softens her bright blue eyes a little, making them look almost purple. I know I already recommended the desert dynasty jewelry, but the light purple it shows as on skydancers would look very nice with her wings, without covering too much of her beautiful gembond. It would just be crime to hide something that looks that good.

It depends on how good a handle I think I can get on them! Writing for flight rising dragons is easier for me because I'm familiar with the lore, but I'm adaptable. Can you tell me a little more about what you'd have in mind?

Well, they've got some pretty detailed profiles, so I'd feel confident enough to take a stab at it, and if it's not what you're looking for, then I guess I won't write any more XD They'd be pricier than dragon bios and take longer to write because of the increased difficulty. About how long were you thinking is a little story for them, and what sort of plots were you thinking? If these are story ideas you want to keep under your hat, we can move this conversation to PM. ^^

Ah, I see. Hmm, based on the length and potential difficulty, I think they fall between a long and a medium bio for FR material. So I'd probably ask 40k each for shorts like that
