TOPIC | Gened first gens and fully gened?
I’ve seen many dragons that are first generation and have genes, but how is that possible? When you hatch an egg, they are always basic, and the dragons you get when you first join are also basic. So, how would you get gened first gens?

Also, in the dragons for sale forum and things, i see people saying that their dragons are “fully gened”. What does that mean?

Thanks for any help eek, im just confused

@Crabtoe

You can change the genes on any dragon using gene scrolls! You can also change their breed using breed change scrolls. Here's a great guide on where all the scrolls are found. You can also purchase scrolls from other players in the Specialty section of the Auction House, which is usually your best option for scrolls that are harder to find, like Python and Morph.

"Fully-gened" means none of a dragon's genes are Basic. While Basic can have a nice, simple look, most players prefer having more interesting-looking genes, especially since Basic overpowers all other genes with breeding inheritance.

@Crabtoe fully gened means none of their genes are Basic. you can find gene scrolls through various ways around the site - most commonly in the Marketplace (different ones on the Treasure side vs Gem side), but there's also some available through Baldwin's Bubbling Brew and Swipp's Swap Stand at the Trading Post, as well as others that drop rarely in the Coliseum.

gened G1s have just had those scrolls applied.
