Go to Account settings and there you can change your signature
To make one I'd start off with: http://fr-tools.tumblr.com/signatures
The other strategy is to get a few different pictures/gifs that are the right size (500 pixels x 100 pixels)
Also if you want to make pictures that link to things:
[code][url=URL TO THE PAGE HERE]INSERT TEXT OR IMAGE TO BE CLICKED HERE[/url][/code]
