Hello, I am Absol1234, and I have always been a lover of animals, especially some of the most interesting and bizarre creatures this earth has to offer. In this thread, you will see many varieties of creatures who are odd, have odd names, look odd, and have odd abilities. I try to find animals that are also not well known, so you will not be seeing general animals here.
Suggestions are always open, just please PM me about it
No need to ping, I will be subscribed to this :)
Notice: Fridays will be rough for a few months for me to post, so I will most likely not post on fridays, but I will make my fridays up by posting two animals on Saturday. Thanks :)
Discussion is encouraged!! So please tell me your opinions and knowledge and whatever else about the odd animals I show you!!
If you would like to be added to the pinglist, please tell me.
This animal gets its odd name from how its face is bare and black, and how it makes a call that sounds like it says, "Go Away". They're noisy and restless birds who travel either alone or in groups.
This species is fortunately least concerned on the endangered species chart, and they can be found in East Africa around Ethiopia and Kenya. Their diet consist of fruits and berries, leaf buds, and seeds, and they enjoy nesting in Acacia trees where they lay 2-3 greenish-white oval eggs.
