You can just watch it appear from the legs up- pretty cool effect, really creepy to watch. Now the dino isn't catching up on us, but by the thuds I can feel it chasing. Went to bed later than I had been recently since I have to switch to closing shifts for tomorrow and Tuesday, and I randomly took my mother to dinner after I got off work last night. **Another vivid oddball- but not exactly story material for me anyways ^_^;;**

Started off with me and a horse- I've been missing them a lot recently, so pretty certain it has to do something with me turning down a chance to get certified as a Therapeutic Riding Instructor this year. I wasn't riding it- just next to it, with it in the area.

Then this giant, and I mean giant bright orange/yellow/gray colored T-Rex shows up outta nowhere- literally phases into the low valley nearby. You can just watch it appear from the legs up- pretty cool effect, really creepy to watch.

I'd really like some other thoughts about the crows if possible. That part bothers me a bit, especially since I was lucid and should have had control over what I saw. There's a glimpse of me falling from the sky, as I usually do when I enter the dream world, but everything is too fuzzy to remember until a certain point. That point is the part where I'm visiting a relative who's enrolled in a university. I'm supposedly also enrolled, and we share at least one class. But me being me, I've avoided attending the classes, mostly because I didn't know I was taking them. Instead of a regular campus with dorms and such, there's a forest with huge trees. And I mean redwood trees standing ~75-150 feet from each other. The canopy provides shade, and the neatly cut grass is flourishing. Picnic tables are placed uniformly, but not so much that it would promote stress. Everything, generally speaking, is very relaxing. I spot who I'm meeting sitting at a table with a few friends I recognize. One of them, in particular, makes me happy to see. In reality, they had a falling out a year or two ago, so I'm glad everything worked out. Plus, having instant friends makes the new college scenario not so frightening. The amount of people is overwhelming at first. Fear begins to build, and I can't bring myself to confidently walk to the table. So I step out of the forest and walk to a peninsula to calm down. I mentally kick myself for not getting things together. I'm no longer a child. I shouldn't be worried about chatting with people. In fact, I'm likely drawing attention for being the only person outside the forest. Once I suppress my anxiety, I casually greet my friends and relative. Unlike my vivid imagination, nothing worrisome happened. We got coffee at an outdoor restaurant which tasted unusually sweet and reconnected. Truthfully, I'm not a coffee person, but hey, they didn't offer tea. After we catch up, the casual conversation turns into studying. When I'm asked a question, I'm ashamed to say that I don't know because I haven't bothered attending. My relative rolls their eyes. "Physik the best person in the class," they say. I find this odd, but don't say anything. I feel like a sore thumb, so I politely excuse myself and walk around the area. As I aimlessly wander, I come across two men studying. Both have similar face shapes and short curly hair. One has dark skin and hair, while the other is pale and a redhead; they remind me of the sun and moon. A grey dog sits between them, a silent companion that separates them. I notice that nothing is happening. No conversation, nothing at all. I conclude that this is my fault because I had a dream about this before, where the two students originally studied together. The thought of me having a similar dream while dreaming somehow isn't enough to achieve lucidity. Wow. I move to sit across from them and make a plan. I pull a card from my pocket that has a grey dwarf pony marked with a white diamond. Why did I name it Cradles? I don't think I'll ever understand myself. I activate the card and decide to make Cradle's home on the peninsula. I'm given the option to add magical mushrooms or a care option, but I don't choose any; I'm a broke college student, after all. Back to the present. I stare down the two boys, wondering how I should make them interact. "How are you guys doing?" I ask. This sparks something, and soon they begin to converse with each other. Victory! Something more pressing stands in my way. Somewhere along the previous conversation with my friends, I needed to know something that I learned in middle school. Fortunately, that information is kept in a binder in the house. Unfortunately, the house isn't anywhere near here. Road trip! I don't recall driving home, though... Once I'm home, I dig through old binders that have magically retained information. I reuse my binders, so this doesn't quite make sense to me, but that's okay. Instead of finding the paper I need, I come across a broken binder that plays different Disney songs every time the page is flipped. Not feeling "A Whole New World?" How about "Under the Sea?" Nope, nope, nope. This is hopeless. I hear a commotion outside and curiosity gets the best of me. A familiar group of people is moving about, observing the garage and some cars I don't remember owning. I'm surprised to see them here of all places and time, but I don't say anything. At one point, I'm in a car, and I do a cool trick to jump out of the window into a blue swivel chair (???). I remember being able to fly. Rather than taking advantage and traveling across the world, I move to the roof and sing a tune. Someone walks outside, so I quickly quiet myself; they might not appreciate my song. ----- Finally, everyone leaves and the driveway is empty. Being alone is nice and all, but something nags me. "I'm dreaming, aren't I?" I ask my subconscious to the left of me, who's taken the form of a small floating dolphin. Silence. "Can you tell me why I'm here?" I try again. "No," the dolphin responds. The voice lacks emotion, yet isn't robotic. "Watch." Three black crows fly overhead. One has four wings. They're covered in something shiny, but I can't tell what. Not wanting to miss this moment, I chase after them, eventually taking a small leap and flying a few feet ahead. They land on a telephone wire for a while. They're a bad omen, I immediately think. But I stop myself. That can't be right. Could it? I notice that the metal wires are actually jewels draped all over their bodies and wings, yet the birds flew as if the decor didn't weigh a thing. They make their way back, going in a loop, I suppose. They meet with a fourth crow, a giant beast with a large gem over its crest. The last thing the dolphin tells me is something about death being closer than I think, and that crows somehow relate to death. Notes: :( That escalated quickly My subconscious took the form of a mini dolphin? Cool!

(side note - i don't remember how, but i know this first part of the dream had some connection to an old/former friend of mine.) 2nd part i remember is just walking around the area, and there were more people around, including (i think?) theater kids from my school. our actual drama teacher was also there, and i think he gave me his keys and told me to do something? i know there was a false awakening in there too where i think i just THOUGHT i was awake in my room and tried to write down my dream notes but then i think i fell back into dreamless sleep.
