No recall sadly

Good morning, dreamers!

I know a few folks have been having strings of no-recall nights, and wanted to congratulate you all for keeping up with things anyways. It's like getting started with running, takes awhile to see the payoff. As a reminder, "no recall" still counts towards the 7 you need for a custom badge, and of course for raffle tickets.

Little challenge for the day is to include a picture in a dream writeup if you do it. Doesn't have to be one you made yourself! Just a picture from Google will do :)

No recall for me today :/ Once again, I was hanging out in bed for a while (about 20 minutes) before I actually got up, and long before I had actually fully awoken I had forgotten any dreams.

No recall or dreaming last night... very stressed lately.
not getting to sleep until wee hours of the morning & when I do, I'm out cold.

As this is my normal POV in my dreams.** The dream started out with a gaming-type nature to it, like the world of Magnolia Online/Hardcore Leveling Warrior, if any of you know those two webcomics (nothing terrifying as being trapped like in SAO). It had that feel due to the 'party' of four traveling the world and defeating monster like enemies as they progressed. The party of four contained a dagger-tipped whip-wielding teenage girl (MC), a dual sai-wielding teenage boy (her brother), an 30-40yo gent with a greatsword (uncle?), and a middle-aged woman who drove a three horse carriage to crate them all around. The woman didn't seem to have any relation to the others, other than friendship. Well they continue traveling until they get to this area where these [i]giant[/i] monster like creatures are patrolling around- and they are creeping me out. So I direct my little party back away from the area towards the mountain they were near. The two teenagers come up with the bright idea to climb to the top of the mountain and get a vantage point to figure out where to go next. The carriage definitely cannot make it up there, so the older dude stays back to be able to protect the unarmed woman + carriage should anything happen. At the bottom of the mountain- the man and woman see clouds start to form quickly overhead, thundercloud like. The woman gets the horses into the cave, and the man runs to see where the teenagers are- only to find them missing completely. Dream POV switches back to the teenagers before I figure anything else out from him. Meanwhile the teenagers have come close to the top of the mountain (they either climb really fast or time just shifted forward a [i]lot[/i] and they find a staircase hewn into the top. They choose to take it upwards, and at the top they are greeted by two glowing orbs that circle each other in harmony. Kinda like yin-yang but green and reddish instead of white and black. The two orbs stop moving and become humanoid in nature, though very much only in a minimal sense. I have a better memory of the green one, a plant goddess, and so I drew her out in the below linked image. The red one I know was a volcanic god, but I really don't have a good memory of him- only that he was volcanic and more masculine in nature- based off of his voice more than appearance. The two deities explain their story to the teenagers and partner up with them- because the monsters aren't supposed to exist on that planet, they were a newer occurrence due to a shift in the overall balance. Another time-skip, and there's a battle between the teenage girl with the goddess (in a smaller, almost pokemon like appearance) and another human who also has a monster-like partner. Long story short, the goddess ends up dying, and I find out that she had given most of her powers to the teenage girl, which is why she was now so small, and that now that she died- the teenage girl has become the new goddess. It's around there that my dream ended. And I've left some things out such as travel bc it's all pretty blurry to me- but I think I just got myself a new novel or comic book idea ^_^;; [b]Notes:[/b] I've linked my drawn image [url=https://i.imgur.com/t4flncY.png]here[/url] since it could be a trigger warning. Just an alien-like goddess lady with her thumbnail and very rough sketch. I had 1.5hrs of sleep the night before, worked a 10hr standing shift with a single 30min break during my 7th hour of standing, and then passed out when I got home and slept for 13hrs... this was my first long lucid dream in months.

No recall again, just multiple half-asleep fever dreams that I can remember nothing about brought on by my sickness last night haha

@arikin That sounds like an interesting dream, that would definitely make a really cool novel haha! I love dreams that have really cool stories to them like that

@logical - same here! That's how I've got most of my novel ideas from, but when they're as picturesque as this one was, I try to draw out as much of it as possible to make a comic or visual novel.
