I used to main Yoshi and I still might play him, but I've always wanted to get better at Luigi and Rosalina.
I also like Bowser as a character, and I've gotten used to using him in Melee so I'd like to see how he is in this one too
of course Plant calls out to me but I didn't preorder cause I'm broke so ;_;
and I was surprised by the newcomer, despite knowing nothing about the franchise they're from

@HydreigonOxide you dont have to preorder actually to get plant, i didnt either. just register it before february. but i understand if you cant get ssbu until then either :(

My favorite series is the paper mario franchise! I really hate how they've had so many restrictions put on them recently though.. really took the flavor out of the game.
Build-a-bear just re-released a few yoshi plushies, so .. I think I'll be getting one. I just can't decide between the blue or green one! (Red, Black, White Yoshi are my favorites.. thanks to Yoshi's story!)

I have heard of it but don't know much about it. There's not as much coverage of this specific Mario educational game as the others.
Mario is Missing sprouted the Weegee meme, Mario Teaches Typing 2 sprouted the Mario's Head meme, and Mario Paint is fondly remembered by all who played it. Not much of the same has been said about Mario's Early Years.
Of course, this doesn't mean it's been ignored entirely. AntDude made [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDBpN9A8yLw]a video[/url] about the series (as well as the rest of the Mario edutainments in later videos) and there's the aforementioned corruptions video too. So I guess if you search far enough you might find more community behind them.
I find it interesting that Mario of all characters is used in these edutainment games, however. I guess it makes sense, being that he's such an iconic character. But still, I wonder why there were so many of them. After Sonic's Schoolhouse, Sega learned their lesson and never touched the edutainment genre again. But Mario's had his fair share of bad edutainment excursions. And funnily enough, Charles Martinet's first performances of Mario are found here too. To think that the iconc VA of Mario himself had such humble beginnings. [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcdIqTFgWRA]The story of his first audition[/url] is actually really cute.

a few days ago i was in this crowd area in new donk city and i just let mario stay in place and get pushed by 2 new donkers while hes in his idle animation casually. i recorded a video of it too. still no way to publish it
