Kotobuki
I have what some have called eclectic tastes.
Power metal, darksynth, 80's prog rock, aggressive rap and arthouse japanese music are just a few of the genres you can find in my favelist. Susumu hirasawa's actually got a few spots on my list because he's just plain good, and if you like him you'll probably also like some of the other stuff here, specifically Kashiwa daisuke. Be warned, you're in for 10 minute to half an hour songs with that one.

tyrantares I have what would probably be described as eclectic tastes as well. haha...I've never been very savvy on genre names, so I tend to just listen to anything and see what sticks. Before I got heavy into Hirasawa most of what I listened to was game soundtrack stuff. Aside from that though I dig Milladoiro, Nurykabe, Gutevolk, Battles, Kishi Bashi...recently really into Shinjuku Mad
Thanks a ton for the playlist link, I'll definitely give some of this a listen! (I just put one of the Kashiwa Daisuke tracks on and can already tell it's up my alley, great stuff)
And since you mentioned prog rock I gotta ask, listened to any of Hirasawa's old band Mandrake? haha
Syumatsu No Kajitsu's a big fave of mine.
Edit: Just remembered Hirasawa's Tokyo Kai=Kai livestream's coming up tonight and tomorrow night. Not sure yet if I'll be staying up to catch it myself. lol

Kotobuki I personally prefer, not unlike Hirasawa himself, Hirasawa's solo work, but Mandrake was also pretty good too. In addition to him and Kashiwa Daisuke, I'm also a fan of Yuki Kajiura, but I have a hunch that there are few weebs out there that aren't, so that isn't saying much. I've recently found Southern All Stars and DAOKO to be something of my liking as well, though I haven't heard very many of their songs to know for sure.
Here's one of each's songs to give you a taste, mild NSFW warning:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSFdckpwXQc for SAS
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExgmZXYUh6M for DAOKO
They're both not quite the same sound as Kashiwa Daisuke or Susumu Hirasawa, but you might find something you like from them if our tastes are anything similar.
