I will keep playing Zoo Tycoon 2 too unless something better or a modern equivalent ever comes out. Kinda discouraging, 14 years and no other animal tycoon game yet has even attempted to come close to what this game does.
Mods are great! A shame Radial Remake is dead but it's given the game a lot before the devs moved on.
Morrowind is the oldest game I play most frequently, still my favorite game of all time. The deepest lore, exploration, and sense of immersion I've found in any game. Well, once you've added some mods anyway, the OG Morrowind graphics and animations are awful but it's such a beloved game people have basically fixed as much as they can about it with mods and 3rd party programs.
I just finished replaying (modded) Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim two weeks ago and it was a good reminder of why Morrowind is still my favorite.
I'm excited for Skywind and I don't care when it comes out. I'd rather have a great thing later than a rushed mess early... Bethesda *side-eyes Skyrim and it's garbage radiant quests, pathetic faction questlines, and civil war.*
But there are some other old games I still love and play too: Neverwinter Nights, Age of Empires 2, Majora's Mask, Ogre Battle 64, and Baldur's Gate II are some I've replayed in the last 3 years.

Oh gosh... *breathes*
The Pokemon Series, Spyro the Dragon, Tomb Raider, Jak & Daxter, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, most Final Fantasy games, The Sims, Neverwinter Nights, Harvest Moon, Rune Factory, Dark Cloud/ Dark Chronicle.
They're the ones that immediately jump to mind. I have a big collection of old games (because I refuse to get rid of anything that has nostalgia), so sometimes I'll just have a look through them, one of them will catch my eye and I'll play it. xD

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Whether I'm upset and in need of a comfort game or just really bored with some time to kill, I always end up going back to this game. I've been playing SA2B since I was real little and know it like the back of my hand. Even as an adult, I get so stupidly excited and quote every cut-scene no matter how cheesy it is. It's definitely the chao garden that keeps me coming back. It's just so addictive and gives me a sense of accomplishment to raise them! S rank shiny chaos chao with max 99 stats...yeah I promise I have a life outside of this game.
That and with it being October I only got one song stuck in my head and have to play this stage every Halloween...You know me, the fighting freak Knuckles. And we're at Pumpkin Hill. You ready?

speaking of ice age 2... i revisited it and i still really liked it. i love games that gives me tons of freedom with how character moves and controlling scrap was really fun. he could do a lot and you could basically jump on anything. the levels were really pretty too.
