I'm curious, does anyone here have any experience with FluentU? How effective did you find it?
I'm still picking away at German and according to Duolingo I'm sitting at 470 word mark. I tend to recognize every 3rd or 5th word and I can translate really basic sentences. I was listening to an OOMPH! song the other day and understood a good portion of it which was nice.
I feel like I'm starting to get somewhere with vocab at least but I'm really struggling with the grammar. I thought I'd cracked accusative case but sometimes I look at a sentence, mis-translate and I feel like I'm back at square 1 because I can't quiet work out where I went wrong. I have trouble with knowing when to use dieses, diese or diesen and I still trip up over word order a lot. I feel like if I crack these I'd be a bit more confident with the language and feel less wary about starting to look at dative case.
I am still interested in staying on the German pinglist but I changed my username (prev Hivemindz). Idk if it's ok to request a pinglist but I'm interested in Tagalog? I work with a lot of Filipinos in a job I'm intending to make a career out of so I think it'd be nice to be able to speak some of the language but I wanna crack my German grammar issues before I start on a new language. I'd also like to be marked as interested for Polish too if that's ok!

Oof it's been awhile since someone's posted here, but I'm gonna go ahead and post as well just in case.
1st Language: English (native speaker)
2nd Language: None, yet
Other languages (if applicable): None
Target-Language + Skill Level: Korean + Japanese; with a focus on Korean for the foreseeable future. I would like to eventually become fluent in both.
Hobbies / Interests: My hobbies include gaming, drawing, and reading. I spend most of my time gaming, and the games I play vary. Lately I've been playing some (modded) Minecraft, League of Legends, and Overwatch in between my practice sessions. I'm in the middle of a non-fiction book called Orca: The Whale Called Killer by Erich Hoyt. While these three are my main hobbies, I love learning about anything and everything. I've been studying Korean for about three days now, using both Duolingo and Memrise, as well as a
YouTube channel for Hangul. I've also been diving back into the wonderful world of K-pop, which has ignited my interest in Korean; while my Kpop playlist mostly consists of BTS, I've been exploring a few other bands too.

1st Language: English (technically turkish but when my brother was born I forgot it all and relearned it because I only talked to him in English)
2nd Language: Turkish
Target-Language + Skill Level: Turkish, I'm nearly fluent in speaking it, but have little to no practice with reading and writing it, so I would love the opportunity to practice (luckily it's almost entirely phonetic so I can kinda force my way through it)
Hobbies / Interests: I love knitting, embroidery, the show Person of Interest, writing, and drawing!
