I just did some research, and that's only the premier of a teaser.
The real release date is still to be announced, but the fact that there's a teaser already shows it might come out pretty quickly.

i think it’s coming out before their books bc the books are supposed to have some backstory in them :o keith and lance’s were delayed bc their backstories were in s6/7
i hope it comes out soon tho aaaa this is the most excited i’ve been for a season in a while (mostly bc i know for sure keith’s there lol)

it is the whole premiere episode, which means it’s probably gonna premiere the same day since it’s on a friday... they did the same thing with s6, had a premiere for it and had the whole season later that night ^^
