You bet it. I used to get mistaken for a boy a lot when I was younger, before my chest developed. To be honest, I kind of miss it, since I'm genderfluid, but my current body shape doesn't allow me to pass as anything other than stereotypically female, even though I have short hair and tend to dress androgynously. I'm cool with pretty much any pronoun though, so it doesn't bother me too much these days.

When I used to have long hair, I used to get called a girl.
I got irritated with it actually so I cut my hair very short

i'm nonbinary/genderfluid and afab so i used to be fine with people referring to me as a girl, but lately i've been kind of <_< about it, so i guess that's the start of something new
Plenty of times in elementary school.
And then at the doctors office once. I… honestly don't understand how that happened.
I don't get bothered by it at all, I find it funny, but I find it hard to relate to people who get offended by being called the wrong pronoun. It really is an honest mistake, I don't know anyone who has done it to be mean.
If you're not offended for yourself that's fine, so long as you know that the people who do get offended aren't wrong for feeling that way.
I'm still not sure what my gender identity is but it isn't quite cis. I've started to transition in the past when I thought I was trans male and when people called me "she" then it was mostly meant as an insult. Believe me, there are plenty of people who misgender people to be mean (to put it lightly).
For most trans people being misgendered is upsetting because it's a reminder that others aren't seeing them the way they want to be seen. Most are understanding (but upset) when a stranger misgenders them because they don't know. However, once someone has been informed of someone else's pronouns they should make an effort to remember them. I have personally had to deal with important people in my life saying, "I won't remember to call you that," "I don't want to call you that," and, "You're not x gender." There are also important people in my life that, when they make a mistake (which they did constantly... if they called me by the right pronoun it was by accident), would start making me even angrier by lecturing me on how hard my transitioning was on them (boo hoo) and how they were "trying their best" -- again, 99.9% of the time they did not use the right pronouns.
I just want to help you understand why people get offended and I hope you don't think that those people are wrong for feeling that way.

As for the main topic, I've been misgendered many times in the past. :/ A few times when I was working I had customers say, "Sir... miss... whatever you are..." It was awful. If you don't know what someone's gender is, just ask! It's not hard if you're not a bad person.

I'm agender but unless I tell someone that they pretty much always assume I'm a woman (though I've been mistaken for being a dude on a few occasions as well). I generally don't really care unless the person knows that I'm agender and insists on calling me something else anyway, otherwise I get that they have no way of knowing (particularly in my small, rural area where most people have never heard of nonbinary identities to begin with) and that they don't mean anything by it and I just go on with my day.
The only thing that's kinda awkward, though, is that occasionally someone will call me "ma'am" or "miss" and I just don't at all register that they're talking to me until they end up repeating it several times or something, which I hope makes them think that I'm distracted rather than rude but yeah.

I've been called a boy often, it's really annoying.
