Samurai Pizza Cats.
Back then I had no idea what anime was though, I just thought it was a funny cartoon about robotic cats who delivered pizza and fought crime.
Pokemon came after and I like that a lot, but I didn't become a true anime fan until Dragon Ball Z started airing and oh boy, DID THAT CHANGE MY LIFE BIG TIME.
