oh my God why does this thread still exist
I’m cringing so hard at my past self but I’ll leave the thread here anyway since you guys seem to still be enjoying it



We all have them. Those little things we say or do or think irl that we never did until our fandoms taught us. Those everyday objects that we used to use without thinking that now make us cry or smile or laugh when we look at. Those foods that we now eat and think "hey, my favourite character likes this food." Those awkward situations that eerily remind us of our fandoms.

So, what are yours? What have your fandoms made you think, say or do? I can't be the only one here! :p

ok so in paper mario bowser tends to say heck plenty of times and that rubbed on me
except i use heck like 46468674564765 times as often as he does

I can now read most forms of typing quirks. Also, buckets make me laugh.

I used to hate apples, but now I eat them pretty frequently
When I get nervous or stressed, I often tap my fingers in a four beat rhythm
I occasionally substitute "Oh my Chuck" for "Oh my God"
I always compliment bow ties

I know there's quite a few more, but I honestly can't think of them...

I've used OMS (oh my StarClan) since third grade and I can't seem to break the habit. I also say oh gods.
Gravity Falls taught me that peach soda is really hecking good
Picked up several British terms and exclamations from Harry Potter
Sympathy for creatures like ghosts and demons
A love of star gazing
Good ability to duel with a plastic lightsaber.
Telling friends at Midterms and finals May the Force be with you

That the correct way to greet a cat is "You're a kitty!"

I swipe down on my phone to open it instead of right or left.
When I see a flickering star I think; "Oh no a world is dying" automatically
I yell PASTA whenever I hear someone say pasta
Statues of any kind freak me out
I have memorized a lot of Pi

Muggle(s) is an insult for people who annoy me.
The song "Dude Looks Like A Lady" by Aerosmith never fails to make me laugh.
I can't look at sushi without being reminded of a certain someone.
Ducks, as well.
