Flareon was owned by Ursula, Dawn's contest rival, same with Vaporeon. Espeon was owned by Salon Maiden Anabel of the Hoenn Battle Frontier, Gary Oak has Umbreon. May has a Glaceon, and Dawn's friendly rival, Zoey, has Leafeon. The newest evolution, Sylveon, is owned by Serena currently in the X/Y/Z anime.
