Fennec foxes are adorably goofy with their big ears! I also love maned wolves, axolotls, and pangolins!

I actually for (2) different end-of-the-year projects did foxes + wolves, they are so neat uwu
Ferrets? I have two, they my babies, their domestic but if you try to find them a vet have fun trying for hours on end, they fall in the ‘exotic’ category. I also really likes foxes and wolves, similar to the above, rats, and the most idiotic, stupid, ugly, disgusting, exotic creature of them all:
HUMANS.

@Raccmoon You stole what I was gonna say lmao
My all time favorite animal is the flying fish.

I also really like shrikes. These cute little songbirds have a really interesting way of handling their food....

And I've always been fascinated by moray eels. Even the creepy ones.

Okay but. I have a lot because unique animals are the best. I give to you my favouritest animals ever!
Bobbit Worm, aka living nightmare and cleaver. Their jaws clamp together so quickly and powerfully that they can cut their prey in HALF.

Hoatzin! They're chickens with mohawks. They're also believed to be cousins to the archaeopteryx, their chicks have claws on their wings!

I also love mantis shrimps, lynxes (my true favourite animal but not really 'unique' enough to put up. Unless you count the GIANT paws), manta rays, quetzals, king birds of paradise, thorny devils, basilisks and praying mantises!

Though mourning doves are not anywhere near uncommon, they're still pretty unique in that they are one of some 25 species that mate for life and I happen to have fostered a pair for the winter last year. And guess what.....they told all their friends in the neighborhood and now I have nine hanging out in my driveway, pecking away at the seed I scatter around (6 adults and 3 fledglings). And they'll be back next year as they come back to the place they are born. So cool! (*^^*)

My favorite animal is already unusual, soooo it's the snow leopard :D I relate to them the most, including being very solitary, likes being in the cold, playful and scared easily, plus likes to hide in plain sight.
