Kell I had posted my post before reading the rest of the thread, and then when I went back to start it I saw that your very first post was all about oceanic rays! :D Not oceanic, but still ray-related, did you know that you can get domestic freshwater teacup stingrays?

First off is the Sea Angel! These tiny graceful beauties are sooo adorable. Until feeding time comes and it's head splits open to 6 tentacles. So cool.

Next: Burrowing Owls! I really adore this specific breed, but I like all owls to. Can't say the same for my family, they are terrified of them. My first encounter with an owl was outside of an old cemetary at night. It was a Barn Owl, and watching it fly away change my life lol.

Bats! This type especially. Sadly I can't recall it's name, but LOOK AT THOSE EARS!

Finally, jellyfish! I love every single jellyfish that ever jellied. Plus their scientific names are rad as heck. 'Medusuzoa' and 'Scyphozoa.' I'm gonna stop right there because once I start babbling about these critters, I will not stop lol.

Also shout out to the Portuguese Man O' War! Not really a jellyfish, and they are FREAKING HUGE. You go, you beautiful freak of nature!

I love bats too. Once when I was little I was visiting a zoo with my parents. The zoo had some little red flying foxes. The wire fence used for the enclosure had holes just big enough for me to fit my fingers though and bat was close to the fence, when I put my finger though it came to me and licked my finger. I have loved bats ever since. (Even though I was probably lucky it didn't bite me.)

Shout out to jellyfish! These guys are made out of so much water that they literally evaporate in the sun when washed up on shore. They are considered immortal, because they don't die unless predators nab them or unless they wash up on shore. They don't have brains or anything, and they continue to stump scientists on how the heck they word. I love jellyfish so much.
