Hell I am weird animal fan #1 Sumatran Rhinos are my #1 favourite animal. [img]http://list-of-animals.com/admin/upload/Sumatran-Rhinoceros.jpg[/img] Sumatran rhinos come from.. well sumatra which is in indonesia and are more closely related to the extinct wooly rhinos then any other species and are the only asian rhino with two horns. They are also the smallest species of rhino. Oh and THEY'RE FLUFFY. And Here's a Eupholus Magnificus [img]http://www.living-jewels.com/images/A300209.jpg[/img] My favourite bug. They're a type of weevil and pretty much all Eupholus are bright blue like this, though different shades and markings. Most of them feed on yam leaves which makes them poisonous (not venomous!) so the colours are likely 'go away I am bad for you'. And my favourite fish, Bristlenose plecos! [img]http://www.aquaticstoyourdoor.co.uk/images/P/Albinobristle.jpg[/img] Here's a golden version of one (they're usually dark and spotty) to show 'em off best. They're a type for catfish. I actually own one! They're really super common in fish stores but that doesn't make them any less special. [i]They chirp[/i] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2btR9rAcdzo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hNH0HrDEyjM [u]Other fun facts, if my memory serves correct:[/u][/center] - They are the largest species of cat capable of purring (the only big cat that can purr). - They are actually not very aggressive, if at all - they prefer to flee rather than fight, and are the only predator known to not have attacked humans in the wild. - Cheetahs are easily stressed, and as a result, have prominent issues breeding in captivity; some have actually been given service dogs to help them feel more secure. [center][img]http://i.imgur.com/Xsy4FFi.jpg[/img][/center] - After a chase, they often cannot eat their fresh prey, as they are so overheated, and usually have to wait some time before digging in. This leaves a window for other predators to steal food. - Not just their fur, but also their skin is spotted. - They are capable of being tamed, but because of their endangered status, among all other complications, they are illegal to own outside of a specified region in the middle east. - They are the most endangered big cat, for many reasons (hunted by humans and other predators, very few cubs survive, need space, hard to bred in captivity, etc).
