okay, i've fixed the AH cards import from Departed, added the option to import dragons from scry urls to AH cards, and clarified dates.
if you want to get these updates, you'll need to grab a new copy of the sheet.
also, i just want to say thank you to you both for helping me squash these bugs. i know it's got to be irritating to have to get a new copy and import your data, but i really appreciate y'all!

It works now, thank you!
But I found another little problem. The symbols for the pair cards only work in bios and in the preview for forum posts but if you send the post they show up as ? as you can see here

This could be fixed by using this symbol •. As you can see here, when I replace the symbols from the sheet with the other dot it works just fine[/left]

if you still have your copy of D's sheet from before, will the symbols show up if you generate the pair cards from there?
i didn't really do anything to the coding of the pair cards - just changed where they got their data from - so i'm trying to suss out what the problem is. it could be that the symbols aren't universal enough and FR isn't recognizing them -- like emojis used to do on non-apple devices.
just to clarify, are you saying the dot symbol currently available in the pair cards produces the "?" error, but the dot symbol you've copy-pasted in doesn't?

No they don't, they are also ?s.
I think that is the problem, though it is weird that they show up in bios and in the previews but not in the posted text.
Yes, thats right. But all symbols produce the ? error. The dot I used is the one Siscily uses in their Super Lair/Breeding Lab sheet.
I've also found a heart that works with FR: ♥

To bring some clarity here.
The other symbols also never worked in D's sheet. Simply because FR doesn't support them. It's like with the familiar Sköll. The "ö" is not supported in the charset (which is stupid but well). Therefore you can't use the item= BBCode and also not search for it in the AH.
It's a similar thing for the symbols. They're not part of the charset and are replaced by ? :> Some parts of FR use different charsets, so some symbols might work in places and not in others. As far as I know dragon bios also have a different charset and often support more symbols than the forum.
And yes, the heart seems to be one of the very few symbols that are supported.
To give you an example:
Here a link to a dragon bio with the same card as below (ignore the fact that it's a bit broken)

Thanks Pingu!
That's what I was discovering from my googling. It looks like the ♥ symbol is the only one that will work in the forums. I've updated the sheet accordingly.
Arya, If you want to do a quick fix, you can either paste ♥ directly into the "Select Symbol" box or you can right click the box, click "Data Validation", and add ",♥" to the end of the list of items. The second option is better if you still want to use the other symbols in bios.

Yes, I have found even with D's pair cards I would have to go through and correct the symbols. I got to where I use the * at size 5.

I just wanted to tell you I am LOVING everything you have done with this. While I loved D's tools, you have surpassed it. I know you put a to of hard work into this, and I thank you.
1 question. I know the pair workshop holds 5 pairs. I was not sure if I would be able to remove the pairs after I completed the PairKeeper. Would doing so mess up the Pairkeeper and Pair Cards?

@Endofighter
ahh thank you so much!!
Yes, the workshop is for active comparison and building pairs. It's self-contained in that while it references the Lair Data tab, the only tab that references [i]it[/i] is the hidden Pair Data sheet that contains all the calculations necessary for each Workshop pair to work. You can change the dragons in these pairs as much as you want.
In contrast, the PairKeeper tab is meant to hold pairs indefinitely. This is the tab that the Pair Cards tab pulls from, so if you want to generate a pair card, this is where your dragons will need to be input.
edit:
also, i've just added the [size=5]*[/size] symbol to the pair cards.
if you'd like to add this to your sheet, right click the "Select Symbol" cell, click "Data Validation" and add [b],*[/b] to the end of the list. Then, click the "Symbol Size" cell. Replace the formula in that cell with this:
[quote]=IF(B26="?",1,IF(B26="*",5,3))[/quote]

Thanks so much for this! I originally came on the forums looking for D's spreadsheets, not knowing they'd been deleted, and was glad to find yours (though sorry to hear about it).
I was looking specifically for something that'd help me track my dragon sales from hatchery pairs, and this is perfect! Just the amount of data I want/need and adding dragons has been super easy.
What is it about spreadsheets in FR that suddenly make them exciting and make me want to go "ooh, I can't wait to add new data"?? I swear, I don't feel this way about normal spreadsheets... [emoji=pearlcatcher winking size=2]
Thank you again for all of your hard work and effort, I really appreciate it! It's a wonderful tool. [emoji=heart size=1]
