I wish all the quests were available so we could work on them in the order we have the items to unlock each slot. I don't think I'll ever be willing to sacrifice a gene for a slot.

I agree. How am I suppose to justify giving up an unhatched egg or expensive gene just for a slot... That's just crazy expensive to me.

But if you don't then you're blocked from adding any more slots...
I have to go check out the amount of treasure for each slot after a certain point, but I can see being stopped short of the size lair I'd really like because of the expense.
At least the old way, each expansion was for 5 slots not just 1.

@glacevoleur
I just noticed on your spreadsheet that on row 160, task "To the Skies!" the Emerald Aviator Gloves are listed twice, do you happen to know which part of the set ought to be listed instead?

@mantidfly
I'll fix that!
Given how fast people are on the uptake with these things, I was actually a bit surprised no one had started a guide for this, but I knew I was gonna need one, so I decided to make one :P Couldn't have done it without everyone's help, though!

They keep on kicking me down,
Tryin' to keep me underground,
But did I mention we were paving the way
for the new breed of bad seed?

Just wanted to make you aware, the Leaving the Woodland Path task requires a Cockatrice, not a Basilisk. They look similar but the colors are different.
