TOPIC | [Tool]Lair space savings progress meter

Saving up for Lair Expansions can be daunting, and I personally get easily distracted from saving for extra lair space when so many other things can seem much more affordable (genes, dragons, art). I also do much better when I have a visible progress bar that shows me how I'm doing, so I put together this spreadsheet to help me track my progress. Hope someone else might find them useful!

In an effort to make the goals seem reachable, the sheet is set up to divide each lair expansion price into chunks based on the amount of money I want to save at one time. For instance, it will cost 975,000t for me to go from 100 spaces to 105 spaces. However, if I divide that by 8250t (the average exalt payout for a Level 5 dragon), that's 118 payment installments. While the total of 975kt makes my stomach lurch, I know that I can definitely exalt 118 level 5s, which means that's a goal I can attain. Looking at it from that point of view is a minor difference in how the numbers are stated, but a HUGE difference to me in terms of motivation and avoiding being overwhelmed.

Also, every time I mark down how many times I've saved that amount of money, a progress bar ticks up. This is calculated by the sheet for both regular lair space expansion prices and 1st place dom discount prices.

Links for the sheets are below, in both single expansion and full page (4 expansion) variants.

When you first open the Progress meter, there's an instruction sheet and the meter sheet. The meter sheet will look like this. The cells you will want to worry about for your own tracking are highlighted in this image (the cells should also be named in the instruction sheet AND have explanatory notes in the cell name above). So, I start out by putting in my current lair size, and the sheet will auto calculate the size of the expansion and look up the regular cost of the expansion, the dom discount cost of the expansion, and divide up the number of savings installments I will need to make to reach that amount of treasure. Since I'm happy to think of my expansion in terms of 8250t chunks, I leave that field alone and begin tracking how many times I've set aside 8250t. When 100% is reached on the progress bar, the whole bar should go green! The Full Page sheet works the same way, but calculates for four expansions and keeps an overall progress meter as well.
