Hello! if you're reading this, we have something in common- the need for lots of treasure(tr)/gems(g)! I've learned a lot in my time and I've decided to give out some of my knowledge with the help of others from the comments:)
My quick markings for faster searches within the guide are as follows:
My quick markings for faster searches within the guide are as follows:
- $, $$, $$$- price tags for the tips that will give different kinds of bucks
- %, %%, %%%- this was the closest thing to a clock, but certain things will take more time than others, sweeties
- *special note*- my special stars are for extra tips regarding the advice I'll be giving you
REMEMBER
THERE'S NO WAY TO GET A BUNCH OF MONEY IN A DAY, PATIENCE IS KEY
THERE'S NO WAY TO GET A BUNCH OF MONEY IN A DAY, PATIENCE IS KEY
- DON'T SPEND IF YOU CAN HELP IT
- IF YOU REALLY WANT TO SPEND, SET AN ALLOWANCE OR A LIMIT
- IF YOU HAVE TO OR NEED TO SPEND, FIND CHEAPER METHODS
- SACRIFICES WILL BE MADE, SOME BIG SACRIFICES
WITHIN YOUR LAIR
Familiars (more%=more $) (tr,g)- most tedious The more dragons you have to bond with familiars, than the more time spent bonding (you have to click on each familiar to bond, should probably be changed) but a good reason to do this, the more you bond the better the chests get with each bonding you get a certain $ which isn't a lot, but at the end of each stage you get increasingly better chests which can give more familiars, apparel, food, tr, g, and other items. Eventually when you completely bond with familiars, it becomes stagnant and it's only 50tr each bondFood storing/Gathering/Scavenging (%%%, $$) (tr)- Get as much food as possible in order to last and then ONLY scavenge and gather. Sell EVERYTHING you find (and I mean EVERYTHING, I'm well aware you can find good things, I've made some tough decisions in my time) this can only last around 1 month depending on how much food you have, please don't starve your babies (don't be that desperate, geez)
Matchmaking with your Dragons (%, $$$) (tr, g)- Match your dragons and sell the babies for possible $$$ at the Auction House. This is a fast way to make big bucks, but it's harder for beginners ("Plain Janes" are harder to sell I'm sorry) This is still a big % for the reason that dergs need time to rest after making babies, minimum rest is 20 days and different species have different resting times
*special note*: how I started out getting beautiful dragons really quick is through the forums. Meet some nice upper classpeople that give away dergs for youngsters and you'll be hatching up cuties in no time
Exalt to the GODS (%%%, $$$) (tr)- For those pesky dragons that just won't sell, just exalt. Doesn't offer a lot of $ but when you're desperate, you're desperate. If you want to strategically exalt, check the home page. It shows special bonuses for certain breeds/genes/other stuff that are being exalted. This is a good way to gain DOMINANCE. With dominance comes a lot of bonuses and even discounts (we love a sale) so make your clan proud
*special note*- From @Lonin: You can train 2 dragons to level 7 in a few minutes with a mire flyer. Lets say you're a slow grinder and it takes you 10 minutes (it doesn't) and you buy your adults for 7k. If you get an average of 11k per exalt that's 8k profit from 2 dragons every 10 minutes. That's 48k profit an hour plus whatever you can make from drops.
If you buy hatchlings for 4k and wait for them to grow up you're getting 14k profit per pair and 84k an hour. You could make a million in just under 12 hours not including drops.
If you train your own dragons you're getting 22k profit every pair and could get a mil in under 8 hours.
FAIRGROUNDS
Games have a 75000 point max each day so it's limited, you can't necessarily grind
A game may seem faster if you're good at it or if you've played it a lot,
so % in this case is more approximate
Higher or Lower (%, $) (tr)- This is a pretty quick game with 25 questions. Each correct answer offers 65tr and once finished, the game refreshes each hour (1:00, 2:00, 3:00 etc) (thank you @mayanaz) There are worse ways to get money so I suggest doing it at least once a dayA game may seem faster if you're good at it or if you've played it a lot,
so % in this case is more approximate
*special note*: If the card is under 7 guess higher, if it's over 7 guess lower. If it's 7, choose whatever
Artifracture (%%, $$) (tr)- Honestly, I play this game the most. It's a good way to waste time when you're waiting for things. It's not really a "fun" game per say but we all have our opinions so you might like it :) as you win more, your winnings increase
*special note*: I would add my own tips for the game, but this post is specifically for money so here's a good forum for maximizing this game shoutout to @cantrip for the great guide :) http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/gde/1579827
Glimmer and Gloom (%, $$$) (tr)- Major thanks to @BluefireDrag0n for bringing this to my attention. If you play this on very hard, you get 4000tr for each win with the help of this guide http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/gde/2486926#post_2486926 major shoutout to @Catradora for the guide and @Shenzai for the spreadsheet math magic
If you don't like the scrolling, there is another guide by @Mahogi that is on hard, you get 1600tr and they have official screenshots of people doing it in under 10 seconds and under 10 turns! Choose from either of the guides, they're both helpful :) http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/gde/2518295/1
TRADING POST
Tomo's Trivia Tablet (%, $$) (tr)- 10 questions with 300tr each correct answer, this is a great motivation technique to learn more about FlightRising. The questions incorporate lore, genes, swapping, and basically anything random you could possibly learn about FlightRising. I'm a history nerd so this is nice :)Pinkerton's Plundered Pile (%, $) (tr)- 1 item a day can offer a variety of not very rare stuff. You can get food, random items, battle gear, and other junk to be honest. You can easily sell what she gives you so don't give away potential tr
Crim's Collection Cart (%, $$) (tr)- Crim, that sweetie, has a hoarding problem. Normally I'm against helping that kinda stuff, but money is money and she's great at buying our junk, and I mean JUNK. If you hover over items it will tell you how much it's worth and she usually pays you for over double the worth. You just have to have a LOT of junk to potentially sell her so make sure to have a bunch of junk BEFORE YOU SELL IT THROUGH YOUR HOARD
COLISEUM
Winning (%%, $) (tr)- With each win you can get random items, and sometimes will get an increase in tr*special note*: I personally follow this guide in order to train up my dragons and blaze through to get more items so shoutout to @Culex for the great guide :) http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/gde/1040710/1
