What eye type do they get? [b]A:[/b] All dragons born before June 8th, 2018 have Common eye type unless they are changed by an item. [*][b]Q:[/b] How do I get these new eye types? [*]Fancy eyes that go outside of the usual lineart (Multi-Gaze, Primal, Glowing, Innocent) layer OVER genes and skins, but UNDER apparel. Identical functionality to standard eyes. The skin does not cover the eyes but the apparel does. [*]Because eye types always layer on top of genes, this can result in awkward tertiary gene combinations, especially with ancient breeds. [center][b][size=5]Acquisition methods[/size][/b][/center] There are two ways to get the new eye types: either a dragon is born with them, or they are applied by a special item. Some eye types are exclusively gotten from items. ----- [center][b][size=5]Natural eye types[/size][/b][/center] Any dragon hatched after June 7th, 2018 may naturally be born with these eye types: Common, Uncommon, Unusual, Rare, Bright, Pastel, Goat, Faceted, Multi-Gaze, Primal. There are items to apply all of these eye types to existing dragons as well. [item=vial of tempered sight] reverts any type of eyes into Common and may be bought for 2,500 treasure at the [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=market&tab=spec&type=0]treasure marketplace[/url]. [item=vial of uncommon sight] applies the Uncommon eye type to a dragon. It may be bought for 50,000 treasure at the treasure marketplace. [item=vial of unusual sight] applies the Unusual eye type to a dragon. It may be bought for 75,000 treasure at the treasure marketplace. [item=vial of rare sight] applies the Rare eye type to a dragon. It may be bought for 100,000 treasure at the treasure marketplace. Do they pass down by breeding? [b]A: [/b]No. Eye type is randomly determined when the dragon first hatches. Dragons can only hatch with Common, Uncommon, Unusual, Rare, Pastel, Bright, Goat, Faceted, Multi-Gaze, or Primal eyes. [*][b]Q: [/b]What are the odds of getting the rarest eyes when breeding? [b]A:[/b] The exact odds are currently unknown, but in order of most common to least common, they are: Common -> Uncommon -> Unusual -> Rare -> Bright and Pastel -> Faceted and Goat -> Multi-Gaze and Primal. [*][b]Q: [/b]What are the odds of getting the rarest eyes when using a Vial of Scattersight? [b]A:[/b] Beware: your odds of getting Faceted, Multi-Gaze, or Primal are very low. [*][b]Q:[/b] What about dragons from Roundsey Raffles? What determines their eye type? [b]A: [/b]All Roundsey dragons are custom-made generation 1 dragons. They may be created with any eye type; their eye type on generation is determined by the whims of the staff member that designed them. Vials can be used to change their eye types after a user has acquired them.
