I hope I didn't miss this in the post but does changing this coding on this page change the coding for good? (if you don't go back and change it, assuming that's how it works) Like in your achievements page, is there a mole achievement instead of the familiars achieve?

Nope! If you reload the page the code goes back to normal.
This is because you are not editing the site directly, from the source. You're just "previewing" your edits.
