Ok so you know marva's invisibility cloak? Well it's not only great for creating haunted armour and ghosts but it also makes a great apparel preview! Here you can request apparel to preview on your own dragons and those that have the apparel can post and help you out. We're also making a database of previewed apparel sets. A tutorial on how to use the apparel previews is in the second post. Specific requests are allowed too! If you don't have a program that can use the apparel previews you can request @Murkydepths for a preview, be patient though!

Here's a tutorial on how to use the previews: Say I want to know what a some copper filigree would look like on my dragon but I don't have the apparel myself. (or maybe I just want to see apparel previewed on MY dragon not the template) Someone who does have the apparel can put it on their dragon with an invisibility cloak and show me: [img]http://i.imgur.com/z4tucHp.png[/img] (This is a saved image so I can take the invisibility cloak off, users can just show dragons) I save this to my computer as a PNG file and open it in a art program that supports transparency. I'm using GIMP which is free. [img]http://i.imgur.com/g1ifH7F.png[/img] I also save the dragon I want to wear the apparel and open that up. [img]http://i.imgur.com/6x3u5SO.png[/img] Now I just copy the apparel onto the dragon picture and layer it so that the apparel is above the layer with the dragon picture. @chespin the database? I have a feeling it will take a long time before it's up an running. And I don't know if it will have layering? You can make entire outfit requests here if people have the required items.

@MurkyDepths Sorry I didn't word that correctly :'D I mean someone is already making a thread identical to this one and with a lot of player's collaborative efforts they're trying to make their own database. I'll try to find the thread, I think it got moved to another forum

@chespin the only other thread I saw about this was charging people quite a bit for the service (which is kinda crappy IMO), not sure if that's the one you mean though

Uh, well if the other thread can be found an it is identical I'll get rid of this one. In the mean time I'd like to help people out. Not many people on right now though :)

@Shinyumbreon Oh no, I don't think the one I saw was charging D: it was a lot of people all coming together, but I can't seem to find the thread now, which is kinda disappointing because it was super cool
