Sorry if I'm misunderstanding something, but are you discussing level 7s with regards to pre-leveling? In terms of profit, it makes more sense to me to rotate more fodder at level 5-6, since level 7 adds enough time to do a second set of fodder.
Forgive me for being a little lost here. Even though I tout the build's speedleveling capability, I use it exclusively to train because I prefer it over the Mire aesthetically and for elim drop chance. And, I like to autopilot while training so staying in one venue as long as I can feels most appropriate to that.
I also think if even small things (using F5 or clicking refresh, having one trainer at the top and one at the bottom of the list, internet connections) would throw those efficiency numbers out of whack, why should we consider swapping the two builds halfway through leveling?

I'm not saying anyone else needs to do it my way. I'm saying "this is something I like to do, I'd like to have the numbers because I'd like to have the numbers." I prefer to level to 7 because I prefer to level to 7--sometimes I get in a groove and have the health and breath to keep going, so I do. Plus, fodder is cheap right now, but when I buy a dragon for 8k, exalting at 5 isn't guaranteed profit. I also don't like to exclusively level in one venue, because it gets boring quickly.
I'm trying not to take offense at your post because I'm certain you didn't mean it like this, but it feels like you're talking down to me, assuming I don't understand how this works. I get it, but this is the way I like to play.

I didn't mean to talk down. I was aiming more for "Why do it this way (swapping to mire)?" Because I couldn't understand that choice from an efficiency standpoint. I understand completely deviating from builds or methods for personal preference, I think I just misinterpreted your guys' discussion as "this is likely the most efficient way to level every fodder in every situation, [and I will call anything different less efficient]" and not "this is my personal preference to do a specific thing".
From that standpoint, I understand completely. Sorry for coming off as hostile.

Mostly, I do this for a change of pace. I go to 4 or 5 in Ghostlight or however long I can before having to reset, switch to my Mire Monk, boost vitality on the fodder and then continue on to at least level 6. I'll keep going to 7 if my trainer is at high health and breath when they hit 6, otherwise, back to Ghostlight with a new set. I don't claim it's the most efficient and I don't always do it that way, but I really don't even have to coli at all so I might as well have fun when I do.

Salamanderpie I don't quite understand this build, I can get my breath up easily in the beginning but as soon as I start rallying + eliminating my one trainer gets taken down very quickly. On rounds with three attackers he only gets two turns to attack, so only one enemy is down. I also don't know how to deal with four packs of enemies which are really common?

If you have your quickness right, once you have enough breath to use eliminate, you should be taking the enemies down fine for the two battle rounds to get to level 4 which is what this build is optimized for. Level 5 is pretty close in time to just using a Mire Flyer or Mire Monk. Starting on a 4pack is risky. Once you have eliminate going you should be able to take them out. Haste can help. Do not try starting with groups of the yellow or green phantom things (Too lazy to look up the actual names).

Not the thread OP, but I've been using this build for quite a while so maybe my two cents will be helpful. I had similar problems when I first started using the build.

Are you bolstering? I run the 70 QCK variant with Rally, Elim, Bolster, and Haste. (Don't really use Haste these days, but it was helpful when I was first trying out variations on the build.) I start with three packs of melee enemies and the battle usually goes like this:
Bolster -> Anticipate -> (enemy turn) -> Rally -> Anticipate ->
(enemy turn) -> Elim everything. And the following rounds are just Rally -> Eliminate everything.
For four packs, I'll take out one physical attacker first, then take care of any mages before they can build up breath (because they outspeed the 70 build), then take out the other physical attackers. If I get a four pack to start out, I usually just restart because it's faster and less frustrating.

I don't have problem building up breath, I have problems getting easily taken out once I've moved past the initial round. I've got my breath and come up against 3 enemies, I use Haste > Rally > Eliminate but that only kills one enemy. Then the other two are free to attack me. Four packs are worse because again I can only kill one.

Which version are you running? I vaguely recall having a similar issue with the 76 QCK build, so I switched to the 70 QCK version because it has more vitality.
