Not sure why, but I ran a timer for an hour yesterday and counted up my treasure earnings in Volcanic Vents and only got 46kt- under parameters that I kept useful items (swipp, baldwin, some Hibernal den) and rare items (familiars, genes, apparel, battle items.)

I'm going to re-run soon and see if it's consistent. Last time I ran this it was only around 40k/hr, but then again I only ran the test for 1/4 of the time. I have a battle rate avg of 8 per minute in vents, so it doesn't make sense that I'm making so much less.

I'm not sure why this would be the case- I guess I must hypothesize that the rare items and the items I kept make up the difference.

I'll also (Big oof) re-run and hoardsell all save really rare drops like Elim, and report what I find.

UPDATE: Okay so @Maki (sorry for the ping) I have some data for you! It isn't much but it's seeming to suggest a slightly lower average. I will update this as I do more full sessions. Not sure why the second one is such an outlier here; this sample size is obviously way too small but I just thought I'd share.

The results are based on 100 battles in each venue, you can see here the list of items from Volcanic Vents (the sell value of drops is 26,591 treasure).

Hey, If farming for all food types, where would you say the best spot is?

Boreal Wood and Volcanic Vents seem to be the best venues (because of the high number of insects).

Volcanic Vents: 810+464+510+421= 2205 food points
Boreal Wood: 910+465+520+380= 2275 food points
Crystal Pools: 672+451+701+355= 2179 food points
