It doesn't matter if you're selling them as adult Fodder. They all sell the same for that.

This is an excellent guide, but I wonder if you could explain - or refer me to another source where I can learn about - the actual mechanics of setting up an AH sale. I have something in my hoard I'd like to sell, but how do I get it into the auction? I need a map!
(I'm not having trouble with the acquisition part!)

You open up the AH. Go to the 'Sell' section (the button is above and to the right of the Sell window when you open it. Click the section for the item you want to sell, then find the item in the list and click it. You'll be able to enter a price for that item. It defaults to treasure. If you want to sell for gems click the checkbox for gems and enter the price in the gem box instead. Don't confuse the two. You can list for 1,3, or 7 days. I suggest 1 day listings as the tax is less.

: The Sell section ... Well, DUH, why did I not see that? (Don't answer that, I know why, distracted by all the stuff for sale.)
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! I look forward to trying it out.

This is a really useful post! It's handy having tips like these laid out in a list that's easy to reference. I may have to redo some of my listing habits on the AH.

Never make fun of a Ferengi's mother. Insult something he cares about instead.

So, I get attached to the dragon fodder I buy and then don't want to sell it when it becomes an adult. Any tips? I think I just need to accept that I suck at working the AH. XD

For me, I have a personal rule that if I keep any new dragon long term, one of the others has to go serve the deities. I have an area on page 5 where I hold potential new permadragons. If it gets to tough for you to do that then don't. You can still make plenty in the AH, it's just that flipping fodder is pretty well guaranteed, takes very little time each day, and isn't much affected by competition or makets changing other than for major dom fights. You can make good money flipping other items and I do.

Ygdrasill, considering I am after the KS familiars, I am gearing up for taking on more serious money-making than just passively inhaling whatever comes my way.
I'm going to have to play the dragons part by ear, because I breed dream dragons for other people, the space for which can fluctuate wildly from day to day. About what sort of percentage of dragons sell within one day of purchasing them?
Also, I have a massive hoard from, well, passively inhaling whatever comes my way for almost 3 years now. How would you go about selling most of it? Pricing pages upon pages of items is daunting. I've sort of taken a stab at it with my apparel, slowly whittling that down, but the apparel alone is exhausting. For things like the materials that aren't currently being used in any sort of way (not in Swipp, Baldwin, for example), do you recommend just hoardselling these junk items?
