UPDATE
There is now a button to get the link to the post.
This is a quick guide on how to link to a specific post using the new forum format.
I don't know if there are other methods, or if it works with all browsers/systems, but this is Windows7 with Chrome.
It also works with FireFox.
Changing an existing link to a post, from the old to the new format
http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=mb&board=BBB&id=XXX&page=PPP&anchor=AAA#AAA
becomes
http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/BBB/XXX/PPP#AAA
(with BBB being the board ID like "frd" for FR Dicussion, and XXX, PPP and AAA being the thread, page and post numbers)
Linking to a post of your own
If you wish to link to a post of your own, you can skip the list below the explanation image and use this method since it's faster (the 'explanation image' list works too).
Getting the post's ID number.
Making your link
Linking to someone else's post (or your own)
Getting the post's ID number.
In order for this to work, you'll need to press Ctrl+Shift+i next to the post you wish to link to.

Now you have this number, onto making your linking post~
Tips
How to link faster under certain conditions
Make sure you know how to get the post's ID number. This is explained in the first lists in the methods above.
Most of these work faster once you have mastered the Ctrl+Shift+i method (further explained in 'linking to someone else's post').
Linking to a post on the same thread
The URL you link to looks like this: page number of post/#post's ID number
Example: 2/#10127323 NOTE ! This does not work on the first page of the thread when this is the page of the thread first visited. For this to work you'll need the full link as listed above.
Linking to a post on the same page (of the same thread)
The URL you link to looks like this: #post's ID number
Example: #10050541
Special thanks to several commenters found within the thread who discovered ways how to do certain linking even faster. This guide is getting better and better thanks to you!

Getting the post's ID number.
- Click 'Edit' on your post.
- Copy the number between the slashes before edit?ischild=1 in the URL at the top of the page, this is the post's ID number. Make sure to save it somewhere.
Making your link
- Hit 'Quote' on the message you wish to link to.
- Copy the URL that displays at the top of the webpage (it looks something like this: http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/frd/1323161/1#mbnew)
- Replace the mbnew part after the # at the end of the URL with the post's ID you saved in step 2 of the previous list.
- Try it out! :D
Linking to someone else's post (or your own)
Getting the post's ID number.
In order for this to work, you'll need to press Ctrl+Shift+i next to the post you wish to link to.

- Click the magnifying glass icon.
- Hover your mouse over the message until it goes blue, click it, and it should appear marked in the code at the right.
- See the number after id="text-? You'll need that number, it's the post's ID number. Make sure to copy it and save it somewhere!

- Replace the mbnew part after the # at the end of the URL with the post's ID you saved in step 3 of the previous list.
- Try it out! :D
Tips
- If you're using Ctrl+C to copy, keep in mind that this will overwrite what you have previously copied. It's better to do the 'linking post' list before your 'explanation image' list so you don't accidentally overwrite the post's number. Not a big deal though.
- If you're using FireFox, be careful you don't forget the http:// at the beginning of the URL!
- When linking within Flight Rising, you, in fact, don't need to add the website name in the URL, you only need the part starting from /forums. Good to save some space!
