So what does this do?

You can list dragons'
  • name & ID#
  • generation (gen 1-3, other/x*)
  • element (colour coded)
  • eye type
  • level
  • breed
  • genes & colours (latter colour coded)
  • there's also a column for additional notes

The 'Statistics' sheet has the following:
  • total dragon count (total & by sex)
  • count by breed & element (total & by sex)
  • count by level
  • numbers about genes & colours

Some things to note/tips for use:
  • Total dragon count is based on ID numbers listed - this way you can leave the name blank for unnameds
  • From generation to tertiary colour, everything except level has a dropdown menu for ease of use
  • Regarding the mentioned above columns, the sheet will reject invalid input (impossible level, you typed in a colour and misspelled it, etc)
  • Everything on the Statistics sheet is calculated automatically, based on values you've given in corresponding columns on the Dragons sheet
  • You can sort your dragons by age using the ID# column (the smaller the ID, the older the dragon)
  • Sort dragons using the Sort sheet function under 'Data'

Ok so here's this thing I made primarily for myself but figured I'd share it with everybody, since this community seems to love spreadsheets :'D
There are a couple of others I found [1] [2] but neither was quite what I was looking for, and they hadn't been updated in a while.

*) Since most don't care about generations beyond 2nd or 3rd, I only added so many.

Whee! This looks amazing. Thank you so much for uploading it. I may even save a 2nd copy so I can use one for my clan and one for my exalted dragons. ^.^

Thank you for this. You've saved me so much grief. Also, I love how you color coded the color and element cells and put the color list in roughly the same order as it is on the site. Little things like that are wonderful.

Wow, thank you so much for this! It's very useful. I especially love the dropdown menus uvu

@mus
I was wondering if I could bum a copy of yours just for the color codes you used?
Unless they are coded in the spread sheet already. But I do love this concept and thanks for the info. ^_^

@Gwendolyn
The cells automatically change colour based on input (I'm assuming that's what you meant?) but yep, I'm fine with anyone modifying the sheet, using it/parts of it to create their own or whatever :)

Yes that is what meat. Thank you for answering my question. Just wanted to make sure that it was coded that way and I didn't have to play hunt for dragon color hex codes lol.
